  1. Could be worse… you could be paying to watch it.
  2. The fact that Marshall looks confused about that being called incomplete has me concerned… hope he doesn’t operate heavy machinery.
  3. Terrace Marshall understood the assignment… don’t get any ideas about winning.
  4. This game is the cure for an erection lasting longer than four hours.
  5. If I was a coach of any sport and saw 704 pop up on the caller ID, I’d probably send that poo to voicemail… the city is cursed.
  6. I think the main issue is that the OP thinks McCall is a top four QB.
  7. Lol, I didn’t know he was a Grey’s guy. College ball starts Friday so add Carolina hoops to my list of other things that I’d prefer to watch rather than the Panthers.
  8. I don’t make fun of y’all for watching poo like Grey’s Anatomy, so leave my MLS playoffs and NHL season out of it, assholes.
  9. What about NCSU… they usually get left out so they are probably used to it.
  10. Funny enough… the Lions are still losing games… and it ain’t because of their offense. On the contrary, the Panthers are also losing games… and ain’t because of their defense.
  11. Air raid QB’s have at least found some success… Patrick Mahomes and occasionally Kyler Murray…. While that’s not a glowing list, it’s two more QB’s than a base RPO offense has put in the NFL.
  12. I personally don’t like Corral either… he’s another QB out of an offensive scheme that uses RPO as their base. RPO is fine in moderation but you can’t run it 100% of the time, NFL defenses will figure it out. Will Anderson very well could be elite. Unfortunately elite defenses rarely win Super Bowl’s anymore… elite QB play on the other hand does. I’ve seen enough from Stroud that I’m sold on him… I get it, he comes from OSU… just so we are on the same page here… I need everyone to tell me what school’s we can draft QB’s from, I didn’t know there was a factory that we should be pulling from.
  13. Lol, after watching Hugh Freeze and Liberty give Hartman fits, I can say emphatically that, that would be a mistake. Hartman is a college QB through and through, the same way Brennan Armstrong is. Wake’s entire scheme is based on a delayed mesh point out of the RPO. They will hold the mesh point longer than any team at the college level forcing the secondary to cover as long as possible… usually, one of their better receivers like A.T. Perry will eventually become open because college DB’s simply aren’t good enough to cover for 5+ seconds. That’s not working in the NFL when you have three seconds to throw the ball. And before the argument is made about Stroud’s receivers… they get open because they are flat out good, not because OSU runs some hybrid, unconventional, college offense.
  14. Okay, so even if you want to make the argument that the Sun Belt is an improving conference, which I don’t disagree with, that doesn’t necessarily factor in the type of offense that McCall is running. I’m tired of college QB’s who primarily run RPO and Coastal’s not only has the RPO foundation but the triple-option foundation as well… NFL defenses are getting much smarter and in my opinion you need a QB that has elite accuracy from at the very least, a semi-traditional offense… outside of an offensive system like Army’s… Coastal’s is about as collegesque as you can get.
  15. I can’t wait until someone tells me that those receivers were wide open…
  16. He actually threw down the field a lot last year as well but the schemes are such that his receivers get open with ease… it’s kind of similar to Wake Forest’s delayed mesh which allows wide receivers to eventually gain separation.
  17. I’ve watched Coastal plenty of times… and yes what they do is entirely based off the triple-option. https://www.pff.com/news/college-football-grayson-mccall-coastal-carolina-triple-option-offense-2020 I’m not saying that he’s not good at what he does. I’m saying that I don’t want anything to do with a G5 QB running a heavy RPO/Triple-Option scheme. It looked like Corral was going to need a full season to get accustomed to an NFL playbook and he ran RPO at an SEC school against quality defenses… McCall is doing it against Sun Belt teams…
  18. So this is cool… All the current tight ends representing old Panther tight ends on National Tight End day.
  19. This isn’t a shot against the OP because I feel like everyone just looks at the numbers, but when is the last time a triple-option QB had success in the NFL… If Corral’s red flag was that he came from an RPO offense then a fugging stop sign needs to be put up for McCall as Coastal’s basic offensive principles come from the triple-option.
  20. That’s found money really, a random guy you picked up on a one year deal and then you turned him into a draft pick… good job by the FO.
