  1. Uninspiring performance, MAR at least made this team watchable.
  2. I actually coached against Danny Pereira when he was in high school, he did that poo on the regular.
  3. Crowd looks average tonight. Also, not sold on Lattanzio’s offensive philosophy, not a whole lot of opportunities in the run of play.
  4. Looks like everyone is back. GK - Kahlina RB - Afful RCB - Corujo LCB - Walkes LB - Fuchs CDM - Bronico RCM - Ortiz LCM - Bender RW - Jozwiak ST - Swiderski LW - Shinyashiki Subs - Marks, Lindsey, Makoun, Mora, Jones, Ruiz, Alcivar, Vargas, Rios Not Included - Sisniega, Sobocinski, Gaines, Reyna Injured - Armour, Mello On Loan - Zendejas (Charlotte Independence), Santos (Charlotte Independence), McNeill (Charlotte Independence), Hegardt (Charlotte Independence), Franco (Talleres)
  5. Does Charlotte move on from Bridges and go after Ayton now?
  6. What’s sad is this isn’t a Greg Hardy situation. Miles doesn’t seem crazy, in fact, you’ll see him at Hornets game playing his children and he looks like a very loving father and family man. Hopefully, he gets the help he needs.
  7. It’s unfortunate but he’s got the wrong people in his ear.
  8. I see Franco is already scoring for his new club…
  9. Issue is Bridges and his team are probably looking at what Middleton and Ingram are making and wants one of those deals. He probably feels like he’s as good as those guys. I’m personally not so sure but I get the ask. Ideally, his deal need to be closer to what Julius Randle’s deal is. Maybe a 4yr./$115M deal that’s slightly backloaded to avoid coming close to the luxury tax this year. By the time the big money kicks in on his contract, Hayward’s deal will be up and we can give Hayward’s money to LaMelo. At that point, the only questionable contract that we would have is Rozier’s. So basically… Year 1 - $25M Year 2 - $28M Year 3 - $30M Year 4 - $32M
  10. LeBrun stating that Nino is going to test the marker - per his agent.
  11. Not surprised that they extended a qualifying offer to Martin but if we bring these two back then the roster will look the same as last years barring a trade. McDaniels, Richards, and McGowens are all going to be on non-guaranteed contracts so there is a little wiggle room there but if both Bridges and Martin are back then we’re looking at: G - Ball G - Rozier, Martin, Bouknight, McGowens F - Hayward, Oubre, McDaniels F - Bridges, Washington, Thor, Jones C - Plumlee, Williams, Richards I assume McGowens gets a two way deal and maybe Richards gets waived. That will leave two spots open for the MLE and BAE, presumably to pick up another center and point guard. I wouldn’t be totally shocked if they brought back Harrell and Thomas. They’ll also have one more two way slot available as well.
  12. Kupchak said the Hornets are going to bring Bridges back at Clifford’s press conference. Pretty straightforward statement.
  13. Watched his presser and I’ll say this, I wasn’t happy with the higher. But I’m warming up to it a bit.
  14. I hope we don’t go into this years summer league without an actual point guard again, last year was painful to watch.
  15. Looks like Bouknight just had surgery and won’t be playing Summer League ball, it’s a shame cause he could have used it.
  16. True, but he can also randomly get you 15 points in a game which is about all you can ask for from a guy making less than $2M.
  17. The Hornets roster continues to take shape. G - Ball G - Rozier, Bouknight, McGowens F - Hayward, Oubre, McDaniels F - Washington, Thor, Jones C - Plumlee, Williams, Richards RFA’s - Bridges, Martin, Kulboka, Lewis UFA’s - Harrell, Thomas
  18. Apparently Ty-Shon Alexander will be joining the Hornets summer league team.
  19. The Pistons Athletic contributor seems to believe that the Pistons won’t be players in the big FA market as they need to sign five or so players to build out their roster.
