Seen some comparisons to Bruce Brown all the way to Jimmy Butler lite if he develops a consistent jump shot. One thing’s for sure, he’s a real good defender.

Glad to see Bacot isn’t the only guy that Cletus plays well against. Also, Cam Spencer has not been good tonight, he was a big part of UConn’s win over UNC earlier in the season.

UConn went on a 30-0 run against Illinois in the second half, what do they have in store for Bama.

UConn has tons of ball handlers. There’s been a few times when they go into traffic and I’m sure it’s going to be a turnover but they always make the right play.

Needed defense and Trimble road the pine in the second half as well.

Was just thinking that. 5-7 from three and shooting 60% from the field but only up by 3. Kind of a role reversal from the UNC game when UNC got out to a fast start and was shooting the ball well but wasn’t able to pull away.

I don’t see Alabama touching UConn, UConn wins by 10+ in my opinion. They are the most dominant tournament team since the 09 Tar Heels.

I’ve said before, State doesn’t have the NIL brand to be anything other than a Cinderella which sucks because NIL is ruining college sports. Rebuilding this team is going to be tough. If I’m Keatts and Arkansas comes calling then I’m gone.

I would bounce if I were Keatts, he was a miracle shot away from being fired and he’ll have to rebuild the entire State team if he stays.

Purdue is still turning the ball over but they are locked in on defense. Burns has been neutered.

State won’t rebound better because this is what Purdue does. Purdue is tied for first in the NCAA in rebounding margin. It would be one thing if this was uncharacteristic for Purdue but it’s what they do, they dominate on the glass.

They foul every defensive possession and I’ll stand by that lol.

Seven of State’s points came off of Purdue turnovers. If Purdue eliminates the turnovers then this one is over because they are dominating on the glass and shooting just as good as State is from the field and better from the outside.

I heard an announcer once say, what’s the harm in hacking and raking and playing physical with your opponent, the refs can’t call a foul every time down the court. That’s essentially what UVA does.

For sure but Burns is more so a liability in the fact that he’s huffing and puffing up and down the court. Middlebrooks is at least able to get up and down the floor.

State is better with Burns on the bench in this one, he’s a liability on defense.

If I’m Keatts I’m ripping the refs, Edey is just camping in the paint on defense. That’s a call that won’t be made unless it’s pointed out.
