Absolutely hate what the Vikings are doing with Dobbs. The allure of Dobbs was his backyard style and his ability to use his legs to make something out of nothing. Minnesota is out here trying to develop him into a drop back pocket passer which is just poo coaching. If Dobbs was going to develop into some polished pocket passer, it would have happened already. O’Connell is a fool for trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole and if he continues to do it then he’ll cost his team any shot at the playoffs. The way Fields is playing is the way Dobbs should be playing.

That was a very pleasing game. We got good tendy play from Raanta, we scored in a myriad of different ways (in transition, on the forecheck, and on the PP), and we got adequate play from our defensemen. Good win.

I like that we aren’t just dumping and chasing tonight. That’s been one of my main critiques of RBA. You can’t dump and chase and rely on your forecheck the entire game, it gets predictable. I like that we are skating pucks in and generating chances in transition as well as dumping pucks in and getting in on the forecheck. Doing both makes us much tougher to defend.

I’d hate it for FSU but as someone who hates the ACC because of how obviously corrupt they are, I’d fuging love it.

I don’t see any way a Travisless FSU beats UF next week, his injury just ensured that the ACC won’t have a representative in the CFP’s. Either FSU or Louisville will get the G5 representative which will be Tulane or Liberty. And I would be shocked to see the ACC lose that game.
