Watched a little bit of Berchimas in the U17WC. That kid is the real deal, hopefully we get to see him play for The Crown before he’s sold to some European team. -
You can’t make this poo up… we bring a Calder Cup to Chicago, the Wolves dump us, and now that they suck, they want our help again. Ponomarev, Fensore, Seeley, and Mendel have been reassigned from their current AHL/ECHL teams to Chicago. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them ask for Rees, Robidas, and others as well.

Not to nitpick, but what does Lemiuex have to do to get some playing time. Drury needs to just watch for a bit. We could go: Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Noesen - Kotkaniemi - Necas Martinook - Staal - Fast Bunting - Teravainen - Lemieux

Caleb wrote “Tar Heel 4 Life” on the bottom of his shoes last night, that’s all class from a young kid who had his ups and downs at UNC. Also happy for Coach Rob, he left UNC to take a job at Arizona a few years ago; so two former Tar Heels came away with a win last night.

Not sure if that was the right time to go for a hit from Orlov, he took himself out of the play and left Chatfield in a 2 on 1. I think you hold up play there and try to give Aho a chance to get back, he almost made it back in time to break up the pass.

Both make some outstanding passes but unfortunately Drury isn’t an offensive threat.

Does anyone else feel like we are wasting Bunting. I get that there isn’t another place to put him but playing him with Drury is pointless. Both Noesen and Bunting seem to be feeders but who are they going to feed, Drury just isn’t it. I’d like to see Pono or Suzuki up. Orrrrr, make a run at Kane and even up the lines.

Have to wonder if the PP will take a step back without TDA. For all his warts, he’s very good on the PP factoring in on 30% of Carolina’s PP goals.
