    If I was in the hockey clothing business, I’d be designing some sort of cooling neck protector right now. Someone is going to design a good one and make a killing because it’s eventually going to be mandatory at all levels of hockey.

    Hornets very well may come back and win this game but the fact that we are currently getting bodied by the worst team in the NBA isn’t great.

    It looks like the Penguins organization is already mandating neck protectors for their AHL and ECHL teams and are highly encouraging their NHL players to wear them. As for the Senators, apparently they traded Dadonov to Vegas and made no mention of his trade clause. Vegas then later tried to trade Dadonov to the Ducks but was alerted that he has a NTC and the Ducks were on it.

    Looks like the NHL is looking into mandating neck guards due to the recent Adam Johnson tragedy. Also, the Senators have to forfeit a future first round draft pick for their role in a voided trade that almost saw former Hurricane, Evgenii Dadonov, traded to the Ducks from the Golden Knights.
