  1. We’re up to 21 right now, most in southwest Florida, a couple in central Florida. It’s going to take some time to sort through all the mess down here but I wouldn’t be shocked if we got to the 80-100 range.
  2. I’m willing to give Bear a few more preseason games but as of right now I’m 100% in the camp of trading him before the season starts. Coghlan is obviously much better and I prefer Chatfield over Bear as well. I’m all for shipping him somewhere four a third or fourth round pick and being done with it. Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce de Haan - Coghlan Chatfield Depth - Dronov, Lajoie
  3. Canes win 5-2 Goal 1 - Noesen (from Dzingel & Coghlan) Goal 2 - Stepan (Unassisted) Goal 3 - Robidas (from LaBate & Rees) Goal 4 - Ponomarev (from Lajoie & Chatfield) Goal 5 - Drury (from de Haan & Martinook) 13 of the 18 skaters recorded a point and Raanta looked really sharp. Sawchenko was also solid though his movements are a little all over the place at times, nonetheless, he’ll make a good tandem with Kochetkov in Chicago.
  4. End of 2… Canes 4 - Cats 1 Goal 1 - Noesen (from Dzingel & Coghlan) Goal 2 - Stepan (Unassisted) Goal 3 - Robidas (from LaBate & Rees) Goal 4 - Ponomarev (from Lajoie & Chatfield) Raanta also looks really good. If it wasn’t already obvious, the Canes are deep. Four goals and not one player has a multipoint game.
  5. Canes 4 - Cats 1 Goal 1 - Noesen (from Dzingel & Coghlan) Goal 2 - Stepan (Unassisted) Goal 3 - Robidas (from LaBate & Rees) Goal 4 - Ponomarev (from Lajoie & Chatfield)
  6. Now 3-1 Canes 3 - Cats 1 Goal 1 - Noesen (from Dzingel & Coghlan) Goal 2 - Stepan (Unassisted) Goal 3 - Robidas (from LaBate & Rees)
  7. More scoring changes, just a clusterfug of a production tonight. Canes 2 - Cats 0 Goal 1 - Noesen (from Dzingel & Coghlan) Goal 2 - Stepan (Unassisted)
  8. In reality they won’t have it working until Sunday so you might be right.
  9. Looks like they changed the first goal. Canes 2 - Cats 0 Goal 1 - Dzingel (from Noesen & Coghlan) Goal 2 - Stepan (from de Haan)
  10. Looks like the Canes got on the board through the PP. Shot from Coghlan tipped in by Noesen. Canes 1 - Cats 0 Noesen from Coghlan and Robidas
  11. How can a pro sports not figure out how to stream a game… poverty franchise.
  12. Florida’s stream is down according to Walt Ruff, they are working on it.
  13. Link below for anyone that needs it. https://www.nhl.com/panthers/video/live-panthers-vs-hurricanes/t-277437408/c-2026813931
  14. Hope Charleston stays safe. It was a category one when it hit Orlando and it looks like a mess in certain areas here and that’s without a storm surge. This damn storm is moving so slow that it’s wreaking havoc everywhere it goes.
  15. Got around and drove a bit in Orlando, definitely a good amount of damage.
  16. Interested in watching a couple guys tonight. Justin Robidas - Son of NHL defenseman, Stephane Robidas, who played nearly 1,000 games in the NHL. Justin had 88 points in 72 games last year in juniors. Grigori Dronov - Tryout player who played really well in the KHL playoffs last year, had 14 points in 24 games as a a defenseman. He’s also not afraid to mix it up.
  17. Game tonight vs. the Panthers. I believe it’s being streamed on their website. Florida is going with a veteran lineup and the Canes are going with a younger group. By my count, the only guys who haven’t played are Slavin, Burns, Lagesson, Seeley, Farrannce (injured), Mattheos, Tieksola, Suzuki, Murray, and Paccioretty (injured). Orr, Montgomery, and Vondras were sent back to juniors a couple days ago.
  18. Tough situation for all… I think this just reinforces as Katrina did, if you live at the coast you need to evacuate. Easier said that done obviously as some people physically can’t due to medical reasons, old age, or they just don’t want to leave their entire life behind them. The rising waters are one thing but after seeing first hand the wind, lightning, tornadoes, etc… until the actual storm passes, it’s a suicide mission to send first responders in because odds are that neither them or the victims make it out. We didn’t have near the wind gusts that the Fort Myers area had but it still felt like it was going to break the house. I can’t imagine what it felt like for individuals down there. I have a lot of friends down there so I’ll probably head down this weekend to help clean up. Shitty situation all around.
  19. Well, no power, expect to have it back by this evening once the wind calms down. It’s pretty crazy how windy it can get even inland. Wind is so loud it sounds like waves crashing and it’s constant. No flooding or damage on my street but have seen reports of flooding and damage around central Florida.
