What Canales needs to do is be more confident in the way he speaks and less wishy washy. For example, there is no reason at all that Bryce Young has not been named the startingn QB. I don't care if hates the guy, make the decision one way or another and move on. If he sucks you will get your QB either way. But this, we have to evaluate all the blah blah blah, this is the easiest decision in sports right now.

I will say, Bryce has a chance to do something really funny. Up to him whether he does.

Everything i read says it's better to trade him in the off season, so if it's going to happen, it will likely be then.

Sounds like Sanders or Ward. Meet the criteria. I would take Sanders, but whatever. Either way I'd sit any QB for atleast half then season a la patriots with Maye.

Agree about ward, he spends a lot of time with the ball in his hands. Weak class over all but if it's gotta be a QB, I would take Sanders first. Much more of a pocket passing player.

I think I would still take Shedeur first. But because his dad likely won't let him play here i might have to settle for Ward.

I'm honestly on the Sanders train. We are missing that big personalities to bring life into the base. He might not be a Cam Newton, but he's got talent and he's got the energy this fan base needs.

I'm not convinced Bryce was ever part of Dan and Canales long term plan. They just needed to keep the message for the team sake before it became so apparent how bad Young was that they could bench and move on from him. New coach, new GM always = new QB. This will be no different. Expect Sanders or Ward to be on this team next year, whether they are starting or not.
