    Really need to bring in some competition next year. Draft a 2nd or 3rd round guy, and bring in a Zach Wilson/ Will Levis to compete. Need something.

    Agree here, don't have the idea of kicking the tires on Lance, Z. Wilson or WIllis and seeing what they can do in a competition. Then I'd draft a high ceiling guy like Drew Allar in the 4th round and see if he can put it together.

    Rather just draft drew allar or something the 3rd or 4th and pray we get lucky then lose draft capital on kyler and not get better.

    Would be nice if we got lucky with like a Trey Lance, or Zach Wilson having their Sam Darnold/DJones/Baker Mayfield light coming on seasons with us. But unlikely, so we will probably be in the same position next year. Hopefully like 6 guys will go back to school this year so that 2027 is one of those years you can pluck a franchise guy drafting in the teens.

    I know his stock is down, but id still take a flier on Nuss in the 2nd or 3rd. He has the traits and has shown he can play. Not sure what happened this year.

    Need to go some kind of rookie in the draft, regardless of if it's the first or second round. We can't win like this.

    This incredibly long and unnecessary post is basically the "I know the [insert RB] had 160 yards and 2 TDs, but he average 1.5 yards per carry if you take out the 2 long runs he had," argument for running backs.
