  1. I can only assume he meant Ray Lewis.
  2. "shockingly underwhelming" absolutely describes the last 2 years.
  3. I don't know if he'll qualify as most improved since he was one of the few bright spots in the last few seasons, but I expect Moton to ball TF out now that he actually has talent beside him in Corbett. So I'll pick: leap - Tremble or Nixon. Both were solid as rookies and are set to get bigger roles this year. fall - I'm going out on a limb with Elflein, because I don't think he was THAT bad once he moved to center. He wasn't THAT good either. I don't see him being much of a factor at all this season unless there are injuries. Christensen, Mays, and Brown should be ahead of him at LG and Bozeman took his C role.
  4. They should have let Icky paint, He grew up a panther's fan.
  5. Yea, but there are so few of us. I'm curious as to who the other 28 are (Moton, Kirk, Tagovailoa, Garopollo). Stupid pay wall!
  6. He was very good for the 3 games he played (3 of the 5 that we won coincidentally), but I need to see more. I can see him start to garner national attention if we win a few.
  7. Also, he stayed in a shootout, without weapons, with a Bama team that had 2 WR's, a QB, a RB, and 3 O-linemen (and a CB that I wanted instead of Horn, hope I was wrong) go in the top 37 of the 2021 draft. FYI, Evan Neal was the "other" lineman on that squad. Alabama Draft Recap Player Pick Team Jaylen Waddle 6 Miami Dolphins Patrick Surtain II 9 Denver Broncos DeVonta Smith 10 Philadelphia Eagles Mac Jones 15 New England Patriots Alex Leatherwood 17 Las Vegas Raiders Najee Harris 24 Pittsburgh Steelers Landon Dickerson 37 Philadelphia Eagles Christian Barmore 38 New England Patriots Deonte Brown 193 Carolina Panthers Thomas Fletcher 222 Carolina Panthers
  8. Agreed, but a stout O-line and a good running goes a long way towards "simplifying" a QB's reads (even if we do start the season with Sam). We made substantial improvements in both the line and RB's.
  9. Honestly, this video makes it sound like most of it comes down to Wayne Gretzky being a little bitch. I don't care if you are the great one, you don't screw with a teenager's future.
  10. The man can’t change who he is. Time to bring out Riverboat Rhule! Coach like you've got a pair or GTFO.
  11. Maybe you've stayed constant and the team has changed...
  12. That's the thing about practice. For somebody to look good, somebody else has gotta look bad I would assume that everyone on defense knows that when an injury prone CMC runs up the middle, you don't fuggin tackle him!
  13. Them tanking only helps Houston at this point.
  14. This guy is intriguing. A lot of DL/DE guys come into their own after 2-3 years. A change of scenery might be good for him. Plus, he's been in a divisional foe's meetings for the last 3 years.
  15. He DID start at Alabama at LG in 2020, that's a big deal. I just worry about a man his size coming back from a knee injury that kept him on IR half of last season.
  16. I think BC and Mays are back up LT and RT, respectively. LG is still very much still up in the air, with BC, Mays, Elflein. and Erving all competing. Although, IIRC, Elflein was decent at center last year but pretty dismal at LG. Also, I haven't seen enough of Brown to grade him yet.
  17. Looks like Rhule came in a little low there, maybe his arms are too short to be a HC at the NFL level.
  18. My bad, I misread the numbers. I was commenting on #4, not #14. But neither looked as clean as Corral's throw.
