  1. That's the shittiest part. We spent a chunk of money, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, draft capital when we would have looked just as good rolling with Teddy last year. I know, I know, you have to keep trying to improve... but that was an expensive mistake!
  2. I agree 100%. For the record, I'm a NC State fan, so I KNOW who I want at 6, but trading down and getting Howell plus an extra top 50 pick would be awesome, If we can't get a plug and play LT.
  3. That's an important stat. I think he's a solid choice in the back half of round 1.
  4. Sam would have to play like the second coming of Joe Montana for me to resign him to a big contract. Squeaking us into a wildcard spot behind a much improved line would make me consider signing him to a team friendly deal, as a back up/mentor, but I'm still looking to draft a QB in 2023.
  5. yeah, but I really don't like the turd! And his Progressive commercials are stupid.
  6. I like Minshew better than Baker, Garoppolo, or Darnold. Mainly because we likely get him cheap, and he doesn't have the ego of the other 3. I ASSUME that he knows he's destined to be a career back up, albeit a good career backup.
  7. Jeez, I hope if any of these 3 tackles are around when we pick, I hope we don't try to get all cutesy. Pick the frikkin LT and suck it up this draft! We may have a couple of not great options for QB, but at least they'll have a solid line in front of them.
  8. I would assume that would mean that we traded way back in the 1rst round AND see Christensen as franchise LT. If either of those things are true, Fitterer is doing a good job playing it close to the vest.
  9. That was always my philosophy at a bar when the clock strikes 1:45!
  10. Why is Rhule there? he's already fuged us all!
  11. Eagles jump to #6 to grab a stud DE. We get #15 (Corral), #51 (best OL / DL available), #101, and Mr. Mustache - who can compete with Corral or back him up for years to come. Edit - OOPS, their pick is # 18, we might need a little more from them to make this happen
  12. This is why I'm 100 on the LT or bust train. Darnold SHOULD look better behind a real O-line, so let's just roll with him and see if he improves. Or, a better option IMO, go get Minshew, who will be a very good back up once we find a franchise QB down the road.
  13. So, they lie, they steal, they cheat, and until they were forced to pick a new name, they were blatantly racist. They really do belong in DC.
  14. Hopefully he's dropping off his resume while he's there.
  15. From Julio Jones to Damire Byrd...what a sad day to be an ATL fan. I love it!
  16. The temptation, for me, is definitely there to take the deal, maybe make them throw in another 3rd or 4th rounder. They have 2 picks in each of the first 4 rounds. IF (and it's a big if) we see BC as a starting LT, it's a no brainer. Obviously, if we feel the need to draft our starting LT, the lower our pick the better. KC's 2022 picks 1st round (29th overall) 1st round (30th overall) 2nd round (50th overall) 2nd round (62nd overall) 3rd round (94th overall) 3rd round (103rd overall) 4th round (121st overall) 4th round (135th overall) 7th round (234th overall) 7th round (244th overall) 7th round (252nd overall) 7th round (260th overall)
  17. I had to take this a step further. Career earnings of $4,727,542 and a 9 year total snap count of 918 (most on ST) = $5,149.83 every time he got off the bench. Way to work the system Kenjon!
  18. This was my first thought. New coach wants to build HIS team immediately. Willing to bet that the elevated cap space will allow him to play more in free agency next year.
