ESPN: Offseason's Biggest Surprise Players on Each Team
shaqattaq replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
At 5'10", 176 pounds! Out there eating up double teams! -
TBF... Her was standing on dry land in an immaculate white T-shirt before his boy got stuck.

Same. It didn't take for me either.

JEEZ... It's refreshing to be having a preseason discussion about which promising WR we have to cut instead of which crappy WR we have to keep! Loved DMo as a player, Loving him as a GM!

I was assuming Blackshear was gone anyway. Or at least PS.

I literally read this 15 minutes ago, but it sums up my feelings perfectly. FYI, the article was about 3 players on the bubble. The author's opinion seems to be Horn is a lock and Renfrow and Moore are fighting for that last spot. David Moore, WR The Panthers' wide receiver room is crowded. There aren't many available spots, at least from the outside looking in. That raises the stakes considerably for those further down the pecking order fighting for recognition. David Moore is among them. The former seventh-round selection is a trusted ally of Dave Canales from three separate NFL stops. He's a solid if not spectacular player, although he underwhelmed when tasked with significant responsibilities during the previous campaign. Moore is battling it out for the sixth wideout spot alongside Hunter Renfrow, Kobe Hudson, and Jacolby George. It could go either way, but Canales' faith and his ability to impact special teams might be enough to get a reprieve."

We gonna be drafting that kid to play D-line in about 12 years! Boy's got moves!

ESPN's All Quarter Century Team 2000-2025
shaqattaq replied to amcoolio's topic in Carolina Panthers
I know that I'm biased because he's probably my all time favorite player, but I hate not to see Greg Olsen on this list! Gronk, Kelce, Gonzalez, and Gates are obvious choices, but Greg was a beast as a blocker & catcher. Not everyone on this list can say that. Couldn't we put 1 more on the PS, please?? -
Happy Gilmore 2 is on the way as well. Live large!

Dates for Training camp are released
shaqattaq replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
We're going to have several (4-5 by my count) rookie starters and several starters on D that were on other teams last year. They need a lot more preseason snaps, especially the rookies! NFL is a big jump from college ball. And as it has already been pointed out, we need to hit the ground running and win those early game! -
-
Yep, it's a very sensible trade off. 1st rounders get 100% guaranteed and teams get the right to a 5th year option. Win Win. Don't fug it up for everybody Cincinnati!

Damn! Goose was 6'3" and 340 pounds! Big man needs 2 coach seats!

and Never, and I mean NEVER, tweet on oxy!

I think he was too much of a gamble for us at 8, or even them at 17. BUT, that doesn't matter. They took that gamble but don't want to ante up! Fug that! Nothing like pissing off you 1st round pick before he ever even suits up for practice, they're being idiots.
-
That's what makes this so absurd, 1st round contract SHOULD be fully guaranteed! The Bengals are the bad guys here. If they didn't want to guarantee is contract, don't pick him in the 1st!!!

The Franchise guy Panthers 2025 deep dive overview
shaqattaq replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree with everything you said, but wanted to highlight this because Renfrow seems, so far, to have remained relevant. I had no idea what he would look like after his year away, but this is a huge bonus for $1.2M. I am so excited for preseason! Also, I think XL gets better simply by not being our primary WR. Getting that pressure off may help "cure" his dropsies. Not to mention a second year in a NFL system should be good for him and everyone else. -
Only when we play the Browns!

JJJ has been with the team so long he gives 0 fugs! Hell, Rhule DRAFTED his replacement and JJJ sent him packing.

He was drafted #17 overall.
