In all fairness Rhule has never started his career off anywhere with success. That usually comes later. He also took B level college teams and made them decent but never top tier or against top tier. Chip, Pete and Jim all had either championships or final four BCS under their belts at the time of them coming to the NFL as head coach. Matt Rhule beat (one?) team listed in the top 25? The ultimate mistake was giving him all the control but Tepper was in a no win situation there.

Rhule didn’t like Cam. They did cam dirty on his release. Legitimately. Why does anyone think Cam would sign back here with Rhule as QB?

Other Cam + Panthers aside, Let’s just say theoretically Cam accepted Rhules apology and came back. How quickly does our 2+3rd string OL get Cam killed again? I’d put the over/under at half a game.

The issue though is did it occur during the previous game. This is bigger than football at this point. If he had a shoulder thing on top of a concussion and they didn’t get him an MRI or even X-ray that’s negligence on the team doctors part. If they did and didn’t announce it/let him play that’s also negligence up and down the staff, obviously a lot of players play with bangs and bruises going deeper into the season so it’s possible he said he could play and the doctors ok’d him on that fact. If there was any possibility this happened the week before, why just announce an MRI now? It becomes liability at this point. Yes I agree sometimes hairlines can just be sore and perhaps everyone thought it was just soft tissue damage. But that leads back to why wasn’t he fully evaluated last week and is the medical staff at fault.

We were a lot better earlier this season. It’s because we usually play a modified single high, our defense tend to edge up a lot so we tend to have a lot break looks against us. We have plenty they just aren’t as pronounced usually.
