  1. That depends on whether you're talking about regular season or postseason, and whether you're talking about the past or the present. Reid has always been brilliant in the regular season but his teams tended to fold in the playoffs. That changed last year. Now some might argue that it went back to normal this year but I don't blame Reid for the Super Bowl loss because his team was banged up.
  2. Let TD use them as tackling dummies. (they already qualify for the "dummies" part anyway)
  3. I would add that play calling is only about half the story. Play design is an equally large part of a successful offense. Sean Payton and Andy Reid both get extremely high marks in that department.
  4. Don't mean to be rude or anything, but I'm probably gonna let somebody else provide the details.
  5. Long (and unpleasant) story from Huddle history.
  6. I said elsewhere (in the wrong thread) that Jaycee Horn really looks the part.
  7. Albert Breer wrote a few paragraphs about Newman in his latest Game Plan column. Apparently, when Newman opted out of the season and declared for the NFL Draft in the same day, he had essentially bought into his own hype. Turned out the NFL didn't think nearly as much of him as Newman thought they did. (and it would seem they think even less of him now)
  8. Also remember that this year, roster cutdowns are going to be done weekly.
  9. I'd really like to hope he's getting better, but the comments from Igo and Joe Person about how he looked in practice aren't exactly encouraging.
  10. I wasn't really sure until I looked it up. Found it in an old Observer article.
  11. We had extensive discussion last year questioning whether Brady just didn't want to use the tight end or the personnel we had at the position were just that bad. Guess we know the answer to that question now.
  12. The comments about wanting the tight end to be involved don't really speak well of Ian Thomas.
  13. My understanding is that game two basically becomes what game three used to be and game three will be like game four. Game one probably won't be any different.
  14. Nope. It was Rivera's statement. We had this discussion a while back so I looked up the original comment.
  15. That's...not what it's about
  16. I'd honestly prefer to avoid discussing couches in this forum
  17. Well, I based that on how people tend to react to certain discussions. Could be wrong.
  18. I'd actually say both of those things can be true.
