I watched Maximum Overdrive with my nephew (I think he was 12 at the time). He was really into it. I noticed he had his head next to one of my stereo speakers. The controls were to my left. At a particularly tense moment in the movie, I turned the volume way up and hit the power button. He dove for the floor I think King is fairly self aware in that department though. He indulged in a little self parody in IT Chapter 2, playing a bookseller that tells the author character his endings stink.

I was a teenager well before line dancing was a thing She was genuinely good, even became a dance teacher when she grew up. She gave me a picture of her in one of her performance costumes that my college girlfriend strongly objected to me having In her case, she actually wound up using all her years of dance training in the profession that Olivia is trying to mimic.

I don't doubt he's a great kid. Being realistic though, between the fact that he was originally picked by an old regime to be part of a scheme that we aren't really running anymore and the opt out (which I agree was justified) he's facing an uphill battle. Being good on special teams might be his best bet to make the squad.
