  1. Fowler is legit. If you had asked me prior to yesterday, I'd have said I think he's going back. All indications now though or that he will take one of the available jobs. If it's true that he doesn't want to face Dan Campbell twice a year, then the Jaguars seem like the most logical choice but who knows?
  2. Welp, I'll be cheering for a Bills-Commanders Super Bowl.
  3. Rasul Douglas...Where have I heard that name before?
  4. Don't understand that playcall
  5. This from Jeremy Fowler... Have also seen it reported that Johnson has told the Lions he's not coming back. (attributed to Schefter but I've not seen a direct link)
  6. Gotta tap out for a while...catch you guys later.
  7. Man, that's some sh-tty tackling
  8. Mark Wahlberg how you've never seen him before... Bald
  9. Opinions of Hurts often tend to vary depending on how you feel about the "tush push".
  10. Rams looking a tad beat up on both sides...
  11. Side Note: Why is our draft forum still analyzing the 2023 Draft? I don't recall that being a special year or anything
  12. Lady Cowboy Fan thought the refs missed a PI against the Eagles. She's just a tad biased, but she may have had a point.
  13. Pocket guys have a better chance of lasting longer but they don't always. Goff? Don't know. We'll see.
  14. Don't we have a "Saints won because of Katrina" faction? Gotta say the start of the game isn't necessarily feeding the Rams sympathy narrative.
  15. Got a friend who likes to float that the NFL is rigged, especially when the Cowboys lose (no, it's not the Mrs, she doesn't buy that stuff) who always said the Patriots were handed the championship due to 9/11.
  16. It's 50% only if you don't count the season where he got fired after an 0-5 start. That, plus the "second place finishes" came with 7-9 records (one 8-8). Yes, he had some playoff wins and that one Super Bowl which is more infamous than famous. As a six and a half to seven year early career span, that puts him roughly in the same tier as Ron Rivera. That equals "good", arguably on the cusp of "very good" but not "great". He certainly has a chance to move to a higher tier than that in the future, but I'm not putting him there just yet.
  17. Seems like for most people, the spotlight for that game is on Goff. Ben Johnson likely salvaged Goff from going down as a bust, but he'll turn 31 this year. Plenty of quarterbacks don't last into their 30s. It's conceivable he's now passed his peak.
  18. As Commanders coach, he's won a playoff game. Cool. I'm gonna need to see him have a non "28-3" performance in the Super Bowl before I'll be willing to elevate him to the top tier, though.
  19. As to Quinn, he's long been one of the better defensive coaches in the league, but I wouldn't rush to crown him as a head coach just yet. He's still got some hurdles to clear before that'll be warranted.
  20. I'd have taken last year's Derek Carr over last year's Bryce Young The current versions? Not so much.
