  1. He just likes trolling because his dumb ass doesn't know sh-t. He writes long, ridiculous paragraphs to cover that up. Breer's been pretty reliable when it comes to Panther news. He had the Matthew Stafford thing well before anyone else did.
  2. That's why he's always quoting someone else (in this case, ESPN).
  3. I mean, when you've got the #1 pick, you could send a video out to everyone in the league saying "You want this guy? Well, #@$& you! We're taking him!" Then drop your pants and moon everybody for good measure and nobody could do sh-t about it.
  4. Played for the Oilers before joining the Panthers, as I recall
  5. Related: Steve Wilks also attended. John Fox and George Seifert apparently didn't.
  6. ...showed up for Jerry Richardson's funeral. Someone a while back had tried to compile a "where are they now" of the 96 Panthers but couldn't find Lathon. Always wondered what became of him.
  7. There is one other scenario I could possibly see, that being that the Texans see us talking to the Colts. There's also a potential scenario where we actually trade with the Colts, but that only becomes plausible if A) we like three guys and/or B) they make us a ridiculous offer. Gun to my head, I think we stay at #1. My hope in that scenario is we take CJ Stroud... ...but anything's possible.
  8. Under Matt Rhule, that profile would've made him a starter.
  9. I don't think we will. But I do think we're open to it. Still have to get a good enough offer though...
  10. Maybe we shouldda seen this coming... From the article: McCray, 30, played in a dozen games with two starts last season for the Texans. He previously played for Campen with the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns and Texans before Campen was hired by the Panthers last year. Sounds like wherever Campen goes, McCray follows.
  11. A little additional background to this story...
  12. From his latest mailbag (Link) From Ricky Dawson (@metmyneeds): Who do you think the Panthers are going to take at the number one draft slot? Thanks. Ricky, I don’t know, and they don’t know. I understand people are having trouble believing this, but Carolina really did move up feeling very comfortable about a couple of the quarterbacks, while wanting to give the four top guys a fair shot through the process. That’s where the flexibility to trade down comes in: If the Panthers feel like three guys are worthy of the top pick, maybe they’d drop a couple of spots to recoup some of the capital that they gave up in making the trade with the Bears. The Texans could be an interesting team to keep an eye in that sense. Houston considered moving up to No. 1, and the Bears looked at the double trade scenario, where they’d have gone from one to two to nine. Ultimately, Houston may not have been quite ready to pull the trigger, but if the Texans get hot on, say, Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud, it might make sense for them to give up a pick to go up, particularly since they’ve already went through the exercise with Carolina. Now, if I had to guess? I’d say Young is the leader for the Panthers, but I think Stroud has advocates in the building, and this isn’t close to over yet.
  13. So first we hired a head coach whose daughter worked in the marketing department. Now we're signing a player whose sister-in-law is a team photographer. This nepotism stuff is getting out of hand
  14. Moore certainly had his critics here, with the most common complaint probably being that some felt he was more of a #2 receiver that we were trying to make into a #1. I had a former co-worker (Cowboys fan) who wasn't exactly a fan of Moore when he was drafted. His statement to me was that we would come to regret it. Can't say I ever came to that point, but I do understand some of the criticisms.
  15. New Seahawks DT Dre'mont Jones... I wonder what drama he could be talking about
  16. Since it doesn't look like they're bringing Cam Erving back, he might fill that "mentor" role.
