    Never wanted Carr as a long term solution. He'd likely have given us better than what we've gotten though. I want a long term starter to come from the draft, but not necessarily this year's draft.

    Matt Rhule was right (crazy as it sounds) about Darnold being fixable. He just wasn't the guy to do it.

    Tepper and Hurney hired Rhule based on "a feeling"... Feelings also involved in the hire of Dave Canales... Perhaps we need more thinking and less feeling

    My normal answer would be that it's too soon to judge (same with Canales). Starting to feel like all the patience is being beaten out of me, though

    Yeah We're down 34 not to the Chiefs, Ravens, 49ers, etc...but to the Commanders. That hurts.

    Didn't properly address the center spot though. That's a big deal. And injuries, of course...

    Doing that at the college level would give me pause because that's a huge deal in the pros.

    It is Tepper, but I know he isn't going anywhere. My oft stated hope is that he'll turn things over to someone who knows how to build an organization and give him carte blanche. No offense to Dan Morgan, but he's not that guy. Kevin Colbert was, at one time, a reasonable option. Not sure he still is. Maybe Will McClay could do it.
