Person is now indicating Campen and Tabor are staying...

I'll try to do better Should I write another profile of Frank Reich? I promise I can try and get the next one to at least 20 pages.

Fangio to Miami official....well...maybe... probably tho
Mr. Scot replied to jb2288's topic in Carolina Panthers
And accurately so -
Looking like the contract signing will be finished shortly or may be already done...

Doesn't seem to be -
Yeah...this is a pretty stupid take.
-
Hope this isn't too "fluffy" I actually think it's pretty cool myself

Hard to call Carroll a true college coach. He'd already had a couple of NFL coaching stints before going to Southern Cal.
-
Maybe because he's only been coaching for about five years. That'd be like giving Joe Brady the job.

Yeah, I'm not gonna go to the guy who gave Matt Rhule a massive contract and full control for hiring advice. Pretty much every head coach in the NFL gets to hire their own staff, and Reich has run a successful team before. Can we say that of Tepper? Hell, one of Frank's former hires is going to be coaching in the Super Bowl shortly. I can't see any good reason to limit who Reich hires. -
Didn't really think he'd be coming here so it doesn't strike me as a huge surprise. My wife shall be pissed

From an outside "40,000 feet high" perspective, yeah I could see that. When you dig into the details of just how complicated it would be to pull off, and especially how damn near impossible it would be to keep quiet in the age of digital media and cameras everywhere, It becomes a lot easier to doubt.

Meanwhile in Arizona... There were people predicting that Sean Payton would get announced as the new Cardinals head coach today. Guess Payton's gonna have to wait just a little while longer

That's the thing. Given what's already out there, none of what he's saying is exactly a huge stretch. Leading up to his hire, several different sources were saying that Reich was "gaining momentum" for the job. That's the sort of thing any one of us could tweet without citing those doing the reporting (or citing a friend of ours) and say "See? I called it!" -
And you're free to wear your tinfoil hat...
-
Kinda why I'd say that decision isn't final yet. Gotta see how things shake out as far as his staff...

He's quoting a local columnist. I kinda doubt that guy's scooping Adam Schefter and Rapoport. It's very possible that Fangio is going to sign with Miami but I'm gonna need a better source than that to really buy in. -

That guy's not a reliable source. -
Do you remember where you saw that? I can't recall seeing anything definitive. Honestly, we've had little to no substantive discussion to this point. (not that they're necessarily should be this early)
-
If he hires an experienced OC, then I could see him giving up playcalling. If he hires a young guy, I'd be more likely to expect he'll do it himself.
-
I could probably find at least four just watching the highlight reel
-
Pretty sure he hasn't said. He's "open" to not calling them but I'm not certain that decision has been made yet. He did call plays for the Colts.

I've told her before the only two things that keep her from being perfect are her Dallas Cowboys fandom and her questionable taste in men
