  1. Colonel Potter had a lot of...colorful ways to say something wasn't true.
  2. Yeah, probably. That's his specialty. I think he tried to claim some other huge inside scoop back when he was working in TV that turned out to be made up or something.
  3. Peter being drafted after I think it was Dom Anile (might have been Jack Bushofsky) telling Vonnie Holliday he'd run to the podium to draft him and dance on the table in celebration was an early "facepalm" moment in team history. Whichever it was, I know they made some lame, stupid sounding excuse when asked about it later.
  4. To anyone who thinks a Reich hire wouldn't be "exciting" If you're old enough to remember the K-Gun, you know.
  5. Or let out of his contract, yeah. That's why getting Bradley would depend on who the Colts hire and whether they want him or their own DC. Bradley's been pretty good as a defensive guy, enough so that he wound up as a head coach once and has been talked about as an option other times. And he's significantly younger than Fangio so less likely to be a short term solution. Being familiar with Scott Fitterer and Dan Morgan from their time in Seattle probably doesn't hurt.
  6. I'm not interested in "selling you". I'm just pointing out how uninformed your opinion is.
  7. It's an uninformed one. Reich had three winning seasons out of four and went to the playoffs twice. He also ran an innovative offense that scored more points than you'd see in almost any Panther season. Calling that "not exciting" sounds silly.
  8. Yeah, that's subjective. As a player, Benjamin contributed more than any of the guys I've mentioned.
  9. Maybe Gus Bradley depending on what happens in Indianapolis.
  10. Yeeeeah...you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
  11. Jason Peter was worthless. Rashard Anderson wasn't any better. And then there's Vernon Butler. Every one of them was worse than Benjamin.
  12. Sorry but Benjamin isn't even the worst first round pick in Panthers history.
  13. The idea of, for lack of a better term, an intergenerational Panthers coaching staff is kind of amusing. Imagine Ron Rivera with Dan Henning, for example... Dom Capers with Rob Chudzinski
  14. Have to admit, now that we have an actual offensive coach, having McCaffrey at our disposal sure wouldda been nice.
