  1. It was a good day to have the Red Zone channel. Not sure how I ever did without this
  2. Had a tough time with us, barely beat the Broncos...
  3. Mariota sealed it with a late interception. It's what they do. In fairness though, it's been what the Ravens do as well
  4. Commanders-Giants feels like I'm just watching a couple of guys see how far they can throw it.
  5. I'd be encouraged if I were a Bears fan, but also still cautious.
  6. I think the Commanders just got away with a PI there...
  7. I wouldn't say "well on his way" just yet. Hopefully on the right path at least...
  8. Commanders just scored to tie the game, but needed an extra point from Joey Slye. He succeeded, but I have to imagine a lot of people were gritting their teeth during the kick.
  9. That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. It's certainly not his fault that he had a lousy coach to start off with, but it does make his path to success just a little bit harder.
  10. I don't know enough about UNC to know who those guys are.
  11. To be fair, what Fields is doing right now isn't something you can sustain long term. He's going to need to prove he can be a way more consistent passer, especially at clutch time. As to the others, I don't know that Stroud would succeed with a defensive coach. Young might, but you've still got the issue that you absolutely have to protect him.
  12. I gotta see who we get as a head coach first.
  13. Broncos-Ravens is a close game That's what they're historically known for but they haven't had anything special on that side of the ball for a while. Remember not long ago, Khalil Mack was supposed to bring them back to being Monsters of the Midway again.
  14. There's a pretty significant amount of evidence available that Steve Keim is a lousy GM. There's a season and a half worth of tape out there on Steve Wilks that to this point is still inconclusive. In order for me to want to hire somebody though, they've got a convince me of something. I can't say Wilks has done that just yet. He still has time...
  15. Followed by a missed field goal. Bears-Packers has certainly gotten to be a more interesting game.
  16. Don't know. This could be pure speculation. It's hard to imagine he'd look at that option unless he felt he were absolutely done as a player. We haven't really gotten any kind of confirmation that he feels that way just yet
  17. One of the biggest things we always worry about with a head coach is losing the locker room. Surprisingly, even Rhule didn't lose the Panthers locker room. Harbaugh lost the 49ers. You don't have to be likable, but you do have to be able to lead guys and retain their loyalty. It's pretty clear Wilks can do that. Where my questions lie is whether he can do the kind of strategy and game planning needed in this era of crazy offense, or whether he can hire the right staff. Both of those things are absolutely essential.
