  1. I kinda doubt Matt Rhule thinks deeply enough to worry about scheme fit when he's looking at players. I wouldn't bet on him even understanding it at the pro level.
  2. I still can't believe we hired this guy.
  3. Granted. It's not so common in the NFL. I can't think of anyone else who fits that profile at the moment. (admittedly I'm not thinking too deeply on it)
  4. From the "Fans are never satisfied" department... Zylstra could be part of that now.
  5. We knew going in that Rhule was a "delegator" type of coach. That's fine, but you've got to be something of an expert (or at least competent) in all areas to be successful as that sort of coach. Rhule definitely isn't that.
  6. I'm not sure the kind of scheme options they used in Cleveland to help the issue have even crossed Rhule's mind. He's still a checkers player in a grandmaster chess tournament.
  7. I wouldn't bet on Matt Rhule recognizing anything like that. Hell, Dan Orlovsky figured out a tell in our formations with a simple film study. Yet somehow neither our offensive staff not our defensive staff saw it.
  8. Players hardly ever blame anyone but themselves. Can't take it too seriously.
  9. The Thing is a masterpiece. John Carpenter is one of my favorite directors.
  10. Not happening... It'd have to be 1-16
  11. The tank was secured when Matt Rhule was retained.
  12. For now it's Juston Burris...
  13. I think what his "process" ultimately boils down to is just tecruit the best players and everything else will take care of itself. Basically, what a college coach would do... ...except that doesn't work in the NFL
  14. He is a great player, but I don't know that I'd call him a great safety. He's badly misused in our current scheme.
