Granted, and one of the things you typically see in a Coryell for example is a fair amount of variance in formation, motion, etc. So again, I'm not sure what McAdoo is McAdoing
-
Perhaps but again, not the question.

When Joe Brady was the OC, we were running a Sean Payton influenced WCO. From what I knew of Ben McAdoo and where he cut his teeth, I was expecting something at least somewhat West Coast like from him as well. But so far this season, I'm not seeing the hallmarks of a typical WCO, especially not when it comes to the use of runningbacks in the passing game. Also true that this yyea we don't really have an offensive line built for that kind of attack. Head coach Matt Rhule's mantra of "run the ball / stop the run" might make you think Coryell or E-P, but it's also kind of hard to say it looks like either of those. So I'm curious, for those who've been watching and analyzing the designs and playcalls McAdoo is putting out there, what do you see? Note: To be clear, I'm looking at system fits. "A bad one" or "an awful one" might technically be correct, but that's not where I'm going

An agenda Yesterday I found out I had minions. Today I've got an agenda too My "agenda" is to talk about the Panthers. Sorry if my point of view is different than yours. Not really sorry but hey...

Mariota only joined the Falcons this past offseason.
-
One of the two got an extension this offseason...
-
FYI: The rookie coach we lost to a week ago lost last night to a Cowboys team led by a backup. There's probably a thread to be made about games we lost that we probably shouldn't have but I'm not gonna do it right this moment.

Sterling Shepard apparently suffered a pretty bad injury last night so any thoughts of trading for Giants receivers might have to be put on hold.
-
Maybe, but I think Daboll is legit.
-
Isn't he also a bit of a head case?

Give me some hope. Can this offense be turned around?

Wilks was reported to have been Ron Rivera's first choice for defensive coordinator, but the Chargers wouldn't grant permission for him to interview. Sadly, he had to settle for some dude named Sean McDermott -

The Previous Game is Under Review- Any Specific Requests?

Gotta be a bit of a film / analysis junkie to do it. I used to watch every game at least twice. Having grandkids leaves less time for that sort of thing But yeah, the fact it's not much fun these days also makes it tougher. -
Best uniforms ever? I actually like this idea. Heck, most major league sports have some sort of all star competition. We seem to be going more in the direction of basketball as opposed to baseball.
-
I just find it funny to think there was a time when players truly took it seriously.

My current choice for an interim would be Tabor. Campen's done it before too. -
We had this discussion regarding Rhule's "we're close" comments. Truth is a relatively small percentage of NFL games are outright blowouts. Most games are close, but people mistake the idea that consistently losing games by a small margin means something positive. Losing is losing too...by an inch, or a mile, it's still losing.

I think even the biggest Dorsey fan probably has to admit this is pretty funny
-
The Brown family in Cincinnati too... As I recall, there was talk of forcing them to sell the team a few years back. (part of me wonders if Tepper will get to that point down the road)

Nah. That post actually was a joke that some folks didn't get But Lord knows a discussion of self important people wouldn't be complete without you -
Happy Pro Bowl Games?

Feel free...Heaven knows I have my share of "fans" who'd rather talk about me than about football. I started my last thread thanking another poster for the idea and then writing out an analysis. It's actually how I prefer to start conversations as opposed to "Here's my take. It's proven fact. Deal with it." I suppose I could go with something like "all of you are beneath me" but I prefer to think of it like my Mom did, i.e. "if you've gotta tell me how smart you are, you're probably not". Case in point
