  1. Yikes! Seriously dude, take a step back and look at what you're doing here... You wanna crow because Matt Rhule beat one ranked team as a college coach (circumstances of which have been discussed here, as I recall) as if that somehow negates the absolute disaster we've been watching over the past two weeks...plus the entire previous season? That's pretty thin...and frankly, desperate. This all in the name of what? Hope? Sure, hope is great. You know what sucks, though? False hope. And I can tell you, with great confidence of being correct that right now, that any hope which is based on the idea that Matt Rhule is somehow going to being this whole thing back from the brink is just that...false. Continue to believe it all you want, but you've got pretty much zero standing right now to criticize anyone who doesn't. The ship has sailed...and it ain't coming back.
  2. Side Note: I'm still waiting on the Panthers to release this year's media guide. Every other team in the league seems to have one out, but not us.
  3. Official snap counts from yesterday have him listed as being in on 10 offensive plays, 15 special teams plays. By contrast, Ian Thomas took 43 offensive snaps.
  4. Still waiting for John Fox to take the Giants job though...
  5. Pretty much just click on the members list at this point. You still prepared to defend Rhule as a good coach and say there's hope for this season?
  6. My ass doesn't believe in analytics (if it did I'd likely have a vastly different diet)
  7. I vaguely recall someone saying McAdoo didn't use it much.
  8. The problem I always have with OL grades is that they tend to look at individual performances. As our old buddy Geoff Schwartz pointed out, it's their performance as a unit that really matters.
  9. He has been for the last few coaches, unfortunately. I remember making note of that at the time he was hired. Now it's rearing its head again. Mind you, this would be a case where we should all thank him.
  10. Actually, plenty of us were aware of his college record.
  11. Side Note @CRA Damn you for putting that friggin' song in my head
  12. Hard to imagine Rhule agreeing to that given how close he and Snow are.
  13. He served as Associate Head Coach with the Browns under Kitchens. He'd probably have Baker's vote given he was part of that team.
  14. I can see firing him now to get an early start on vetting candidates to be the next head coach. It is possible though that if he's let go, he takes his guys with him.
  15. 2018 : Green Bay Packers - Head Coach Mike McCarthy was fired the same day as a Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals 2019 : Cleveland Browns - Head Coach Freddie Kitchens was fired December 29th with one game remaining on the schedule 2020 : Los Angeles Chargers - Head Coach Anthony Lynn was fired one day after the season ended 2021 : Houston Texans - Head Coach David Culley was fired four days after the final game of the season 2022 : Carolina Panthers - Head Coach Matt Rhule ... Yikes! To be clear, I think Campen is a good OL Coach (his reputation is that he's one of the best) but damn has he signed on to some unfortunate ships over the past few years.
  16. To be fair, Tepper meeting with Rhule the Monday after a game wouldn't exactly be out of the ordinary. It's possibly just a normal thing that wouldn't typically be news. There should at some point today be news of Rhule having a presser but I haven't seen that yet either.
  17. I've looked around Twitter and other sources and can't find a thing. FYI: Don't think you can delete your own posts anymore, but you can ask a mod.
  18. That's fine, but people would like to know where you saw it.
  19. Yep. While it's true that Rome wasn't built in a day, it's also true that the people who built it didn't set fire to the entire landscape and dig a giant crater before they even got started.
