Panthers terminating Rock Hill project agreements
Mr. Scot replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper technically had nothing to do with Richardson being removed. He just bought the team after it happened. As a side note, I'm not sure how anyone buys the idea that Marty didn't know about the stuff Richardson was doing. -

That should have happened sooner though. Hurney sticking around for another year helped lead to Matt Rhule. -
Funchess wasn't a guy I'd call a true possession receiver. When I hear that term, I think of this guy...

Valid question... -

It was never part of the plan. Tepper is doing this so that he can avoid having to pay everything that's currently owed to the people that did work on the facility up to now. And if you think you factor into my decision making, don't flatter yourself -

From Rock Hill... -
For those who had him as a vet QB option, afraid he's out. To his credit, he actually made a pretty decent career for himself.

He doesn't. He's got a thing with trying to look smart online, primarily because it's... not something he experiences in the real world. He's been advised many times that he'd be better off not pulling stunts like this, but he doesn't listen. -
People who laugh at the dumb things that you do don't really constitute "fans". And given that you've already gotten yourself a temp ban, you might wanna try sticking to football

Yeah, that's...an incredibly stupid thing to say. Can't say I'm surprised though -

That would benefit them...how, exactly? -
Florio... The process will allow Tepper’s real estate company to pay contractors who worked on the abandoned site, with the obvious reality being that there’s a good chance some or all will be paid less than they are owed. Yes, it seems odd that a multi-billionaire would be able to shirk or minimize financial responsibilities by taking advantage of the bankruptcy laws. But rich people don’t get or stay that way by being stupid. In creating a company that was and is separate from his personal fortune and putting that company in charge of the aborted construction project for his football team’s stadium, Tepper can shield himself from having to dip into his own piggy bank to pay 100 cents on the dollar to those who provided services to a project that Tepper dumped once public financing didn’t come through. The NFL, as explained in the article from TheAthletic.com, has no issue with the situation because the company declaring bankruptcy is separate from club ownership. However, these debts were incurred directly from an effort to build a new practice facility and headquarters for an NFL team. The idea that an NFL owner can play a financial shell game in order to force those who are owed a certain amount of money from devoting professional efforts to building an NFL facility to basically take whatever they can get from a bankruptcy estate feels wrong, no matter how technically right or legal it may be. As both an old guy and a longtime student of the game... ...I have no idea what that phrase means
-
Pathetically. Wouldn't bet on it, but to his credit, at least he hasn't been banned and come back under numerous alt IDs.
-
Nobody's that concerned with you, dude. You're a source of amusement. (self-important people typically are)
-
It'll likely be posted on the Panthers YouTube channel later.
-
Well between the irony (and hypocrisy) of posts like this, the fun of watching you tie yourself in knots and the sheer hilarity of you seeming to believe people are concerned over your opinion, I'm too entertained to care that much But feel free to continue if you think it'll make a difference to anybody.

Laughing even harder now
-
Well, I know I'm laughing

As you might expect, not necessarily a huge amount of "meat" in here, but a few interesting comments about particular players (Corral in particular) and the way McAdoo goes about installing his scheme.
-
Well, sometimes it fits. Like say, when you have someone who spends all of their time talking about other people's posts instead of talking about, you know, football. That guy is especially pathetic.
-
Could be worse... Imagine someone who keeps coming back and making new IDs on message boards where they've been repeatedly banned. That guy would be pretty pathetic
