Add sexual assault to the Dan Snyder allegations
Mr. Scot replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Richardson cooperated. (or capitulated, depending on how you look at it) -
Ouch You're not wrong, though...
-
Multiple reports have said this is something that David Tepper was counting on, so it's a bit of a defeat for him.

some Panthers notes and updates in this article

Still looking at Carlos Dunlap as an option... -
Been reported that he and the Browns are done with each other no matter what happens with Watson. Brissett is the backup.
-
Or bait... I remember some years back, Atlanta famously leaked a fake offer to Charles Johnson. Marty Hurney responded with a crazy offer that Johnson jumped at. Later came out that the Falcons weren't serious. Not sure Fitterer's old Seattle colleagues would try to do him that way but you never know.

Bruton Smith gone as well...

Mentioned this in the thread about Jaylon Ferguson too. Goose was always fun on the sidelines or in NFL films. Really hate to hear this... -
Which is a shame...
-
Bad day for the Ravens family Goose was a lot of fun to watch as an analyst. He was also the guy behind that infamous "truck" giveaway during a Panthers preseason game.

I'm 55

Now this... Damn

He didn't say they let him do anything, but you can accidentally see and hear a lot of things just walking around law offices. (my brother and his wife both worked for attorneys) What he signed sounds like a "just in case" type document. -
Disagree. Kuechly said Holcomb was great, even after being pissed that his original coach Warren Belin got fired. Holcomb was also the guy in charge of coaching Jeremy Chinn his rookie year.
-
This is (or at least was) a thread about a young man who died tragically. No details are as yet known about how he died, so anything suggested is pure speculation. Not sure how it came to this
-
I'd keep Holcomb. He was Kuechly's linebacker coach.
-
Al Holcomb already has that title. So does Jeff Nixon.

Unknown, but I have a hard time believing Rhule is going to allow anybody to overstep Phil Snow.
-
Only real hope I see there is someone like Wilks stepping in. But Snow is one of Rhule's "untouchables" so I don't know if that can happen.

I'm not even sure they twisted his arm. Richardson had a really weird loyalty to the league. From the outside looking in, it seemed pretty one-sided. Doesn't seem like he ever saw it that way though. -

He technically wasn't, but kinda was. When Richardson announced his "internal investigation", I think he firmly believed the league would have his back. After all, he'd been loyal to them the whole time. They didn't, and that probably came as a huge shock to him, plus a major disappointment. As the sale was winding down, Darin Gantt reported that Richardson was walking around, grumbling things like "I don't have to sell this team", but there was no way the league was going to let him back out at that point. My guess is he knew that if he didn't cooperate, things could have been far worse. -

They were ready to do it with Richardson but he fell on the sword (and later grumbled about it). And I know a lot of people take the "mutually assured destruction" route when talking about NFL owners but I'm not convinced all these guys know everybody else's secrets. -
Vegas odds on which head coach gets fired first this season

Hell yeah! I don't really think that's gonna happen though. -
A coaching suggestion from Scott Fowler... How would you feel about this?
