I've seen bits and pieces of that movie but haven't seen it all. What I saw did look funny.

Wow I know we interviewed Bieniemy when Rhule got the job. Always wondered how that went.

Narrated by Jordan Gross
-
We were down a scout because one took a job elsewhere.
-
Pretty sure it's Pat Stewart pounding the table behind them with Evan Cooper to his left. That's gotta be when they got Ekwonu (or at least knew they had him).

It's not Christmas until I see Hans Gruber fall off Nakatome Plaza.
-
Hans kinda did. (arguably Karl too)

Didn't know of any but I looked it up and apparently the Jets have one. Generally speaking, scouts aren't easy to find info on unless you pull the team's media guide. I know there are a few female assistant coaches (one on Rivera's staff if I remember correctly) and the Eagles have a female VP of Football Operations. She interviewed to become the Assistant GM of the Browns a while back but didn't get the job. (wonder how she'd have felt about Deshaun Watson)

I'm gonna guess that happened around the time Ickey Ekwonu fell to them.

It occurs to me we'd probably have to make some allowances if this were done by Disney as they tend to "idealize" their subjects. The above mentioned "Remember the Titans" as well as Mark Wahlberg playing Vince Papale are examples. Knowing how they work, Disney would probably cast Tom Cruise to play Andy Reid

...word is this year's Panthers Confidential will be out tomorrow. Looking forward to it

I wouldn't put money on him ever even watching Garoppolo play. His MO is to take up contrarian positions because he thinks it makes him look smarter than others. Given that his positions invariably tend to be wrong, it doesn't really work out that way. When debating, he'll look up a stat or an article that kinda sorta maybe in a way if you don't think about it too hard supports his position and then stick with that as if it were a final authority (even after it's debunked). He can't keep up with an actual debate so it's pretty much all he's got. It's equally obvious that he doesn't really understand football given his reliance on the things mentioned above. I get that he wants to be part of the conversation, and I'm pretty sure I know why. Normally wouldn't fault him for that, but the track he takes trying to act superior to others makes me lose sympathy for him.

Just saw that. Not sure exactly what her role will be. Kinda cool, though. Still haven't hired a Director of Pro Scouting to replace Matt Allen. Starting to wonder if they're going to.

Khan was a guy I always feared a little because he doesn't have as strong a personnel background as others. Guess we'll see how he does.

Not sure if there'll be much in the way of news but it's possible. Also not sure why Steve Wilks' picture is backward

Related... The Commanders (that still doesn't feel right) signed former (temporary) Panthers Aaron Monteiro yesterday.

Hence why Browns ownership and leadership are not exactly the most popular people in the league right now.

Ellis, Verge and others had Corral as our number one QB prior to the draft. I know there's narrative manipulation and all, but this is one I'm buying. Hell, they'd have to have been fortune tellers to see how this played out.

Not if he saves Rhule's job...
