Allen may be overrated. He is genuinely good, at least. This comment about Dan Campbell, though...

Word this morning that Jason Kelce will retire. Besides him, the Eagles have a lot of good free agents. Someone elsewhere speculated this could be a really bad offseason for them. Mind you, I'd take Jeff Stoutland in a heartbeat.

Or getting the top job in Dallas.
-
I'd be one of them. I think Belichick is done.
-
Honestly think it's just that as the season wire on, the Eagles increasingly looked like sh-t.
-
Is it, though?

Official...

If you read the excerpts from Kapadia's article, Halaby is absolutely mentioned as part of the problem. It was whether or not McLane mentioned him or not that I don't know. As to Halaby being something special candidate-wise, yeeeah...no. His resumé isn't anything special.

Don't know. They were relatively late to the party. Haven't seen much news on that front.

I'm gonna say... Rooney Rule

This season wasn't exactly a great advertisement for them

She advised me today after watching the Dan Campbell locker room video that she's officially Lady Lions Fan for the rest of this year's playoffs. (Dan Campbell is so good he can even fix Cowboy fans) 🫥
-
I'd prefer neither.
-
We're not. I mentioned him for illustration purposes.

Yeah, sure. Likewise, I'm certain that whole "asking whether people will tell us to @#$& off before officially putting in an interview request" thing was because Tepper was worried about having to beat potential candidates off with a stick
-
He certainly has the right to do that. And in response, the best available candidates - or basically anyone with other options - has the right to say "kiss my ass, dumbsh-t".
-
Unfortunately, I'd agree. But let's say they do let the new head coach decide on his own staff and he doesn't want Tabor or Evero. Then we've effectively prevented them from getting other jobs while not retaining them ourselves. It's kind of a dick move either way.
-
I'm not interested in either of them.
-
I'd like to say that's unrealistic. ... I'd really like to

I get it. I'm just not a fan of letting trends affect that sort of decision. Ken Dorsey is technically a young, offensive minded coach. Would he be a better candidate than someone like Dan Quinn, though?
