  1. The Steelers DT looked like a pro wrestler selling a move.
  2. Gantt pointed out that he showed really solid chemistry with DJ Moore. That alone separates him from Teddy.
  3. I would say Erving looked better than expected tonight. Still not sure I'm ready to trust him as a full season starter at LT though. Paradis? Wellllll...
  4. Started off looking nervous but still performing decent. Looked to calm down the more he played and finished strong. Won't surprise me if his upcoming season follows a similar pattern and this game turns out to have been a preview of what was to come.
  5. If you want a prime example of a guy doing everything he can to seize his opportunity, go back and watch Spencer Brown's performance from our final preseason game. Whether he makes the team or not, he absolutely gave it his best effort.
  6. Worst coach is probably Eric Washington. Worst player? There's an awful lot to choose from with various criteria.
  7. Not as good as I'd like, especially on the interior. Miller may have gotten benched.
  8. This conversation has arisen in a couple of other threads, so I thought I'd give it a place. It's generally acknowledged that OC Joe Brady has a brilliant offensive mind. In my opinion, it's fairly evident in his play design. Now with that said, play calling and game planning are different skill sets. It's possible to be very good at writing out plays but not so much at knowing what to call when the pressure is on. It should also be noted that Brady is young, hasn't really been a true solo coordinator before and might still be growing into his job. So I'm wondering, what is people's opinion on how good Joe Brady really is overall in the job of offensive coordinator? Add to that how good you think he potentially could be.
  9. Revisiting this in the light of our third trade in nine days... I can't really recall a prior camp where there was this much activity. There's always some churn of course, but in the past it kind of felt like once we got to camp, the guys we had were more or less who we would go with and eventually whittle down. Maybe a minor pickup here or there but nothing too big a deal. Also mentioned elsewhere that Fitterer doesn't seem to give a sh-t about optics. He had zero problems trading away a guy they just signed in free agency.
  10. From what I've read, there was some thought in New York about using Santoso as a kickoff specialist.
  11. If you get away with it, you're Patrick Mahomes. If you don't, you're Rex Grossman.
  12. It's actually what I should have said when I asked myself whether or not I wanted to click on this thread
  13. It's been done, but guys with the skill set to do all three are extremely few and far between.
  14. It's basically Payton's version of the WCO. One of Payton's trademarks is a tendency for a lot of rub routes and natural picks to just "accidentally" happen.
  15. Regarding Eberle... Regarding the stache...
  16. When done right, it wins a lot of games. Can't speak for anybody else, but I'd much rather watch boring wins than exciting losses.
  17. Not that it's a big deal, but for the record I only count 79 currently on roster. As far as predicting the final 53, Fitterer trading every other day makes it tough Heaven knows what he'll do when everybody's final cuts are out there.
  18. Which I guess you could say is the bad version of the Coryell
