Might be difficult... Could be wrong, but I think Evero and Kevin O'Connell are former colleagues. If there's a connection, it'd likely take a strong offer to overcome it. (Tepper is, of course, capable of that)

Big news...

You do kinda have to give him credit for helping us win in 2015. Since he left, that particular spot on the staff roster's been pretty much a revolving door.

My main takeaway from that is that Josh Klein was right. Makes up for him being wrong about the new head coach's name starting with 's' -
Re: Proehl Looked up Beebe and apparently he's the head coach at a small private college in Illinois.

Person previously wrote that Rhule's idea of "collaboration" was badgering anyone who disagreed with him continually until they caved. -

This also from John... -
For the huddler who's interested in S&C coaches... No prior connection to us or anyone on staff that I know of, but that's not an absolute necessity for a role like this. Makes me wonder though if someone like Ricky Proehl or Don Beebe could fill such a role. (Beebe would be kinda familiar with our new head coach)

He's one of the few Rhule guys who had a legitimate NFL resumé.

College coaches are basically king of all they survey. Rhule said in an interview he gave while still at Baylor that full control was a non-negotiable for him taking an NFL job. -
More from John...

Likely requires slapping Sean Payton upside the head since he seems to be holding Evero hostage right now. Volunteers? -

Having an assistant coach also hold a title in the personnel department is a very "college" thing to do. -

Good point... Yikes -
Sounds like Jeff Nixon might stick around in some capacity. (not OC)

Tepper came in thinking he was gonna revolutionize the league, show everybody how it's done and look like a big balled genius. Instead he's a massive failure so far, is learning why things are the way they are and looks like a big bald numbskull. -

I was never a fan of hiring a college coach but said I'd give him a chance. Year one is pretty much always nothing special, but we'd gone into that season expecting to come out with the worst record in the league so 5-11 seemed like an overachieving year. By about the middle of year two though it was like "oh, okay". Leroy Hoard used to say "if you need three and a half yards, I'll get you three and a half yards. And if you need five yards, I'll get you three and a half yards." That statement works well with Matt Rhule if you change it to five wins. -
Well, this could get interesting

And yet we had people arguing right up to the end that he was doing good and could turn it all around given time Wonder if our old buddy Dr Lunker still thinks that -

I feel like that whole time he was in charge was just a really bad dream. Keep asking myself "Did that really happen?" -
Better than that one guy in the Reich thread who has an inside source within his ass

Pretty sure his last name was Davenport. (ashamed that I know that)
