    Interviews with employed coaches or coaches under contract were only allowed to be virtual up to the 17th. Johnson is interviewing in person on Wednesday.

    As far as what would make me quit, it'd have to be something bigger than football. Ricky mentioned the team embracing Deshaun Watson. That's the sort of thing. Being bad at football is one thing. Being bad people is another.

    I don't think Fangio's interview has anything to do with luring Payton, Harbaugh or anyone else. Nor does it need to. Fangio as a DC is worth checking into regardless of who your head coach is.

    Couple of guys from the older crowd are getting a shot... In season, there was pretty heavy speculation that Dan Quinn's relationship with our primary front office guys might get him an interview here, but that didn't happen.
