  1. Meanwhile... Peetz and Satterfield both moved on to new jobs after their first year in Carolina under Rhule. Now they're rejoining him.
  2. The question came up a couple of times with Rhule: Is he lying or does he genuinely believe his own bullsh-t? The more I hear him talk, the more I think it's the latter.
  3. I normally would expect the team to keep quiet about stuff like this, and they probably will. But man, If I were in their spot it would be hard not to issue a few...rebuttals. (especially David Tepper given that this is kind of a slap in his face)
  4. Yikes He's basically saying Tepper misled him, and that if he were told differently or given more time he could have produced. He references Wilks, but seems to ignore the fact that the team only improved after he left and some of his loyalists were fired. Wonder how the players who defended him while he was here would feel about this.
  5. The source is a guy who's with NBC Sports College and Fantasy football coverage who's followed by Jordan Schultz and our own Mike Kaye, so he at least seems legit. There's also this... The video with NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo talks about Wilson having lost some of his teammates, and references "antics" that were happening in Seattle that Denver knew about but accepted.
  6. I don't put the same value on Nixon as I do Campen or Tabor. But with that said, he's done some pretty good work with Foreman and Hubbard.
  7. Probably, but Nixon is one I wouldn't mind keeping. Outside of his association with Rhule, he's got a legit NFL resumé.
  8. Barthel was with us at one point but wound up let go quietly behind the scenes. More significantly though, it likely means Jeff Nixon isn't going anywhere.
  9. A little update... Wilson had characterized the exchange as Purcell saying something like "let's go". Apparently that wasn't true. And seriously, what kind of goofball says this sort of thing at a time like that anyway? Dude's ego is off the charts.
  10. I can't imagine not wanting Campen unless they have someone else they're tied to. Tabor? Probably similar.
  11. I was wondering, but apparently it's not real anyway
  12. Pretty sure he's a free agent next year, but is everybody dead certain that Seattle won't at least consider sticking with Geno Smith?
  13. I don't know that the framing of it as this or that really matters that much. That he chose to respond to a random no-name fan in such an angry manner for all the world to see is the really stupid part.
  14. Getting the band back together... Foley was one of the coaches Wilks fired right after getting promoted. No word on Phil Snow yet (that I've seen, anyway).
