It's not about this season. This season is basically already lost. Pretty much everyone can see Rhule needs to go. There's no real point in keeping him longer. There is something Tepper can gain by letting him go early, though. Rhule would be immediately available to interview for college jobs, and if he gets one Tepper would no longer have to pay him. -
Do people think good GM candidates are gonna be attracted to a team whose owner fired the last guy even though he didn't have power over the roster? Tepper gives an unqualified college coach full roster control over a seasoned NFL personnel guy, then fires the personnel guy despite forcing him to work under the unqualified college coach, and we're expecting other people to want to work for this owner?

Who let you in? -
Sure Walker's win percentage is about as valid as the Panthers #2 defensive ranking last season.

"David Tepper will do whatever it takes!" -
Not sure. I’d have to look it up.

I don’t buy Tomlin getting fired.

I’m definitely aboard the Demeco Ryans for HC bandwagon

I want a guy who's got at least ten years experience, preferably with more than one as a coordinator. The first part isn't that hard to find right now, but the second is. -

Help! Please, my name is torturing me

I get that. That's why I suggest your future name not have any such ties. Mine is because my family history traces back to Scotland. Pick something personal to you. -

He may be, but he wasn't ready to be an OC when we hired him. A lot of this year's candidates (Ryan's included) are first year coordinators. I'm not a fan of going that route. -

This is why I didn't want a name that was tied to a player or coach. -

Pretty sure the oldest recent hire was Frank Reich, who looked pretty good before the Colts traded for Wentz, then Ryan.
