  1. I don't give a damn if he wears three pairs of socks as long as he's good. I'm not wanting to draft a quarterback this year but I won't be thrown off by something as inconsequential as whether he wears gloves.
  2. So Sean Ryan, Ben McAdoo, Matt Rhule and Scott Fitterer are all there.
  3. Nothing from any legit sources. This guy is full of sh-t.
  4. All your tackles belong to us...
  5. Reversal... She was probably fed info by an agent or someone affiliated with Fisher. Checked with a team source and they said "no".
  6. Just to put the final capstone on this discussion... Guess all those behind the scenes machinations that were supposedly going on just didn't work out, huh? (or maybe they never happened) Regardless, as old Dandy Don would say, "Turn out the lights. The party's over."
  7. Also thinking that when it comes to #6, they either want a quarterback or they want flexibility.
  8. Depends on what you want. If you need a guy who can play right now, it's gonna be Pickett. If you can afford to be patient and hope for better results down the road, you could try Willis. Or in our case, when you have an owner and a head coach who both like a certain player, well...
  9. Yep. It's one of the reasons Rodgers was so pissed. They could have used that pick to bolster the roster around him but instead spent it on a potential replacement.
  10. I know Fitterer has spoken highly of Pickett on more than one occasion, and not just in generic GM speak. Specifics. Whether they like him m enough to take him at 6 is another story, of course.
  11. Cam was a markedly better player, and proved it against top level competition. Willis is not on that level.
  12. To be clear, David Newton isn't the only one to say this. Others have repeated it as well (Breer, for one). That makes me think either it's a narrative the team wants out there, or the simpler answer...it's true.
  13. I get that. It's also true that pretty much everyone says he's going to need at least a year or two to be NFL ready. I'm not sure Matt Rhule can wait that long, so it's probably a moot point.
  14. No offense to Armstead but I confess I'm kinda wanting to draft a left tackle. Mostly because this is a good class for them but also partly because I really don't want to draft any of the quarterbacks.
