  1. Lady Cowboy Fan was complaining about that too.
  2. Yeah, as mentioned above, Brady's up for QB Coach there.
  3. That's one potential Harbaugh destination down.
  4. Cue the "of course, he would say that" response. Gonna be an interesting offseason down there.
  5. Whoa! For the record, they've got a pretty good DL Coach in Kacy Rodgers.
  6. My biggest thing with Bridgewater is that we all thought his criticisms of the staff were just sour grapes. Turned out he had some valid points.
  7. That'd be a throwback. Those two teams played some amazing Super Bowls.
  8. Wasn't that the idea behind Teddy Bridgewater though? That didn't work out, but it's also true that we didn't realize just how dysfunctional everything else was at the time.
  9. Heres your chance to talk about the kind of game we're not gonna be in for a while to come. Will be difficult to match the quality of last weekend's games but here's hoping...
  10. Ive said before that Rhule reminds me of John Fox...minus his good qualities. Fox was never that big on developing quarterbacks (or quarterbacks in general). Hence his preference to look for a player someone else already trained. Darnold was something of a half-measure on that front. Kind of wonder if he'll go full bore with the next one.
  11. Working himself back up the ladder at a more normal pace might be the best thing for him.
  12. I don't really have to do anything in this thread, dude. Your own posts did all the work for me. You didn't get what the thread was about. You can accuse me of changing it but anybody can go back and read the original post and see that you just didn't get it. So yeah, nothing else needed...
  13. It actually is. Bottom Line: You made yourself look pretty dumb in this thread, and it's not hard to see. Kinda doubt you're gonna be able to spin your way out of it, to be honest. But keep trying, dude. It's at least a good source of amusement
  14. Sure you did But hey, if that helps you feel like you're saving face...
  15. Who's talking strictly about the coach? Kevin Colbert had control of the entire Steelers organization. As mentioned, he rebuilt the whole damn thing from the ground up. That's what we're talking about in this thread, rebuilding the whole Panthers team structure. Quoting the original post: For those of you (us) hoping that David Tepper would call on longtime Steelers exec Kevin Colbert to help straighten out the unholy mess that is the Panthers football operational structure (i.e. Matt Rhule in control of everything), some info from Peter King's latest column... You didn't even know what the discussion was about, so no wonder you're off the rails here
  16. For the record, we interviewed Ian Cunningham for the assistant GM spot here before hiring Dan Morgan.
  17. You're really committed to this narrative, aren't you? Go ahead with it, dude. Just understand pretty much everyone else knows how valuable Kevin Colbert has been. The fact that you don't know sh-t about him doesn't change the facts.
  18. I've said before I'm skeptical of Byron Leftwich due to his inexperience as a coach, but if the Jags bail on him in favor of keeping Trent Baalke, they're even dumber than I thought.
  19. Oh sure, because the Steelers were never successful before Tomlin Colbert built the entire structure, the scouting department, pro personnel, their free agency policies, he ran it all from the time he was hired and the team only had one losing season on his watch. But yeah, he was really just "a piece of the puzzle"
  20. Hes not clever enough to set a trap. He thinks he is, but nope.
