Everybody nailed it already but this is what I want out of team captains. Laser focus. He is probably stoked as hell because he is a leader of a damn good defense that has been ruined by being the unit to carry the team. He also is looking out for PJ because you have to know he's antzy about his start on top of now Cam being back. I pray to God that Cam is 100% healthy and that shoulder holds up. If so, Cam being back is great. If he can't hit the long ball still consistently, we're no better off except we'll steal some first downs through Cam running for his life.

There are two whatevers in his head. His wife and his brother. Betting money he is losing his mind but seems like the kind of guy who wouldn't want to make a fuss or blow up his relationships.

Sam Darnold seems to have escaped from the basement of his home and tied up Dan Sarmold to make his return. JD Moore is clearly not as good as DJ Moore though.

Playing Warzone, watching the Braves, watching the Hurricanes, watching my son take his snacks out of his snack bowl and dump them all of the floor that I just cleaned, a dentist appointment, a haircut, filing taxes, going to the DMV. These are some of the things more entertaining than this game right now.

The system isn't the problem so much as the players failing to execute consistently across the freaking board.

Nobody open and line can't block, on top of the fact that we're not getting plays in and lined up quickly. This team is flat. OL is bad. Darnold has been bad today. Anderson is useless. Run game has no real room. This is bad football.

I miss doing The Canes Blog here back when we had blogs, but I simply don't have that kind of time myself. I have to fight the wife for hockey nights as it is (or I watch on my phone as she watches whatever show she's watching...or second monitor if I'm playing warzone)

Watching Kuemper absolutely smother chances has me anxious. We need consistent goal tending to get it done this year. And as I say that he gives up one to the blocker side. Lol. But otherwise he has been stellar.

Nah. If we address the OL and if Joe Brady learns to adjust faster than the last two drives of the fourth quarter, we'll be in the playoffs next year and we'll deserve it, assuming we stay healthy. We're not near as bad as some are making us out here.
