  1. I think he gets moved in the offseason. I expect at whatever small price we can get.
  2. Oh I don't mean the Panthers will do okay. I mean Dalton will do okay. I expect a bump from historically bad and elevate ourselves to season's worst.
  3. I think he will get one more shot after here(likely in 2025 as a backup) to show anything or I think he will be out of the league in maybe a year or two after that.
  4. Dalton tends to be elevated by the situation around him rather than vice versa in his later career. I would suspect he will do okay but okay is likely to fail with the current team being what it is.
  5. Bruh, you need to realize that he doesn't have much value. Manage the cap hit appropriately and that's about it. It just is what it is from here on out. There is no Brian Burns deal at the end of this rainbow. More like a Justin Fields/Josh Rosen deal.
  6. Our team is all JAG's. What makes him less of a JAG than most?
  7. Get ready for a bottom of the roster churn all season long.
  8. I think the list will be short. Look at Rosen, Fields, Wilson, Jones, etc. A clear bust will have limited options moving forward.
  9. I think Dalton will eventually get banged up and he will have to play. I do think we move on from him in the offseason.
  10. A lot will depend on how Dalton does. If Dalton is good enough, it's over.
  11. Yeah, this is a pretty irrelevant thing, IMO. I really could care less what he was working on. It does show he doesn't seem to have much passion for the sport. At some level, I think that is a core issue. Not that it would make him more talented but if you don't live, eat and breathe football, it's going to be a tough to excel in this league. Especially without elite talent.
  12. This should let us know how good our offense can be and how competent our coaches are. Dalton is not an elite QB by any means but he is competent. If competent QB play doesn't make much of a difference, then it's back to the drawing board in the offseason.
  13. Honestly, I can't swear that it would be dramatically better. I am not sure this offensive playcalling would improve or not. As I stated before, this is a multi-faceted problem to get us where we are right now. There is no quick one person roster fix to make us suddenly good.
  14. Extremely unlikely. The chaos that is causing our decline goes far beyond the QB position. If we replaced Bryce next week it wouldn't get dramatically enough better to truly matter. This is a bad team loaded with bad players. It's a shaky, unproven coaching staff and a bad FO. Topped by the worst owner in sports.
  15. There are a lot of NFL employed QB "anyones" that wouldn't be better than Bryce. The issue is that there aren't a ton of them that would be demonstrably worse.
  16. He has been relatively slow, minus the Reich era, TBH. Hurney stayed around longer than expected, Rhule stayed around longer than expected and Fitterer really stayed around longer than expected too. All of those guys were very clearly not suited for the job at least a year before they were canned.
  17. He doesn't strike me as a guy that quickly changes his POV on his "gut feelings."
  18. We have been rebuilding for 5+ years now. It's not "rebuilding." We are down below the foundation. This is building.
  19. TBH, I think the organization has telegraphed all offseason that they didn't think they would be good this season.
  20. Look how quickly they recovered from the draft capital they gave up too. Build a good team and the QB will eventually happen. Hell, build a good enough team and you can attract one in free agency.
  21. Probably a 7-9 wins. Our defense we far better in that time period. It's not even a comparison now.
