  1. There is no telling. I just know that someone who has a history of micromanagement as their style of mangement rarely ever changes, especially at his age. Now, that can also happen with someone in a new position but he has been an owner long enough that it should have changed already. It's just who he is.
  2. This assumes he is an NFL caliber QB. Show me the evidence for that. This is like blaming Ian Thomas for not panning out or Sam Darnold for being a huge bust. WTF do you want them to do? They just aren't NFL caliber players.
  3. Honestly, who really cares what he did or didn't do? Horn works out like a madman all offseason but he gets injured all the time. Kyler Murray played CoD all offseason but he's a top 15 paid QB. IDGAF. I care about winning and playing well. He isn't doing that, so I don't care if he worked 12 hours a day on fundamentals all offseason or spent every day at Carowinds.
  4. Bingo. Corporate mentality is a fuging cancer.
  5. Been preaching this for multiple years now. We are the new Browns. Literally every sign from that 1999-2017 run of misery is there. Worst part is that our 2018-2023 is actually worse than that era started our for them. Buckle your seat belts, boys. It's gonna be a rough remainder of this decade.
  6. I don't really like any of those picks other than Sanders. If we get two average or better starters in the group, it was a good draft. Otherwise.... woof.
  7. It's TBD but this offseason was less than stellar, IMO. The draft looked like a classic Fitterer draft. I don't expect it will turn out much different than the past two offseasons. It would be a pleasant and welcome surprise if it did end up being successful.
  8. There is a small chance he could get canned. I wouldn't say it's impossible he gets fired.
  9. Well, we have our first official kiss of death of the season. That didn't take long.
  10. If you still believe in Sam Darnold, there is nothing anyone can do to help you.
  11. He was pitched as having field vision and playmaking ability that was far above average. The reality is that it's below average. So when you couple that with below average physical abilities then it quickly becomes obvious he is a below average QB.
  12. I am still kind of amazed I had a lot of push back on my statement about our roster being the worst in the NFL.
  13. Lol. It wouldn't have mattered. This is based on the idea we are going to get better.
  14. Meh. We are not going to be made or broken by any individual RB injury this season.
  15. I don't see much in the way of amazing. The only one that really significantly outplayed their position was Moore and it isn't what I would consider "amazing." Of the trades one is clearly awful(Burns) because of what was on the table before. CMC was an insanely good haul which Fitterer promptly squandered. The Moore trade will completely revolve around Young's career. If he becomes a franchise QB, no one will mention it as a bad trade. If Young flops, it will be a terrible trade.
  16. Yeah and that was almost 50 years ago. Not the same scenario.
  17. They could have hung for a quarter if they go fairly lucky.
  18. It's just kicking the can, basically. Accounting loophole. But the cap hits will keep coming. The Saints were exceptional at this for a long time.
  19. I don't know who you are referring to but we selected Brooks at 46 and Frazier went at 51. As I said, another in a long line of long term centers that we will likely regret passing on.
  20. If this isn't the low point yet, I am gonna hate to see what it ends up being.
  21. Technically only one of them was traded for peanuts(Burns) and he should have been traded for one of the larger hauls in recent memory. Moore could be construed as peanuts depending on the outcome of Young's career. CMC was traded for the biggest haul you will probably see for an NFL RB in the next decade.
  22. I do know. Our bummiest bums were All Americans, All Conference, etc. It's quite literally the same thing as saying the best team in HS would beat the worst SEC team. Both statements are insanely laughable.
