  1. Actually I am going to approach a sports book to give me odds on a bet that the Panthers don't have a winning record before the 2030 season. If they give me very good odds, I'll probably put a couple of grand on it.
  2. I mean, it will likely be a failure in 2024 but you have to do something. We had the least talented roster in the NFL. Which, TBH, it is still probably the least talented but at least we tried to do something, for better or for worse. I would say our 2024 ceiling is probably 4-5 wins but you have to hope at the end of that there are at least glimpses of some sort of plan on the field. That's something we are several years removed from seeing.
  3. Yeah, if you haven't played some football at leasy through HS, that transition is going to be tough. People remember Gates and Jimmy Graham but those are still outliers.
  4. I saw a kid like this in AAU a few years ago. Like 6-5ish, 320, insanely good feet and hands. Had never played football, only basketball. Never had good influences around him that helped drive him towards success. So he didn’t get convinced to play football until basically senior year of HS. Obviously, just not enough time to transition. He would have been a BRUTE at DT.
  5. Technically he treated the Pats that way.
  6. Would have still had the #1 pick he led us to. Oh well.....the Bears will probably use it more wisely than we would
  7. Yeah, really hope he gets a banger of a game to get him back on track. I want a tough goalie selection for the playoffs.
  8. Yeah, that's either gonna end well or be a disaster they are fixing for the next 4-5 years. Can't wait to see Rodgers on the Vikings though!
  9. My former college RB buddy use to say that all the time about himself and in terms of what he said was competitive speed. "If I'm even, I'm leavin'.
  10. Better but very marginally. Maybe 1-3 games.
  11. Yep. Only time in my life I was rooting for the Falcunts.
  12. Speaking of something that should be nuked.....
  13. I wasn't super pumped in the signing but that does make it seem like a big get in that context. Thanks for that perspective.
  14. Bad loss. Move on the the next game.
  15. Yeah and one of the biggest differences with Shadeur is that he is already older. He's 22 years old. I don't think you are gonna see Deion running the kids life.
  16. I'm not trying to say that he didn't fug them up at that time. No doubt he did ans long before that too. But at least for Lamelo and LiAngelo, they seem to be fairly well adjusted and not head cases. I am not sure I buy into this theory he ruined their lives. No doubt his insanity was a net detriment, even in the long run.
  17. I mean, they are grown adults. Two of them with a ton of money. Their father is only capable of "ruining" them if they let him. Every person has the choice when you become an adult to cut that umbilical cord. I don't really see obvious signs that is an issue with Lonzo or Lamelo.
  18. Yes. They have slowly built a monopoly that USED to be illegal to own but our wonderful legislative branch opted to take the money and run many years back. It's incredibly fuged and they literally have unsavory intent in building the empire they have.
  19. Yeah, that is some Fitterer garbage with that trade. Terrible.
  20. I hope Sinclair dramatically collapses. The local news monopoly is super fuged up and I don’t think the average viewer is aware of it.
  21. I think that will end up being overblown. That isn't something I would put a lot of thought into as a GM. If he is level headed as a person, I don't care much about Primetime. If not, that's a different story. The one thing you have will to contend with is that the media is going to hound Deion for clickbait quotes about his son. So that circus might get tiresome but that isn't likely to impact the locker room unless Shadeur lets it.
  22. So you can hear him hype some 6-6 QB with a noodle arm?
  23. Sanders is definitely a good prospect, I think the actual argument is whether he is a great prospect.
  24. Lonzo had a lower ceiling than Lamelo and the middle brother had the lowest ceiling. It all ended up likely the way it would end up anyway. Lonzo will have a good career as a journeyman and be financially set. Lamelo could become a star player eventually.
