  1. You want impressive? Henry almost ran for his 2nd career 2k season.
  2. Banish to the dungeon, plz. We talkin' football.
  3. Eh. He finished 83 yards ahead of Henry and with 3 less TD's. Meanwhile, Lamar almost rushed for a 1000, passed for over 4000 and had 45 total TD's. I do think what Lamar did was more impressive.
  4. Lamar and Allen had even more impressive years.
  5. See Coker, Jaken. Tired of RAS bums. Get players.
  6. Not much difference between 25 and 32 in the 2nd. The real kick in the balls is that we don't have OUR 2nd.
  7. 100% fug em both. I will take any remaining AFC team over those two.
  8. Bad throw by Stafford again. Oof.
  9. Stafford leading a GWD would be an extra knife into Lions fans.
  10. Stafford misfiring everywhere
  11. No, the problem there is likely headed to Dallas to be HC.
  12. He was not 2nd tier. He was like 9th tier in 2015. People forget that he literally lost his starting job that year. Sam Darnold has never once been as bad as Manning was that season.
  13. The issue Philly is going to run into is being so one dimensional offensively. It means they can't afford mistakes(penalties, TO's, etc). Their margin is razor thin, unlike some of the remaining teams.
  14. He was a non-elite gunslinger. Those guys weren't super hard to find. He had one year that he finished top 10 in passing yds and two years in the top 10 in passing TD's. Most of the guys we are comparing him to had many of those years.
  15. Peyton Manning and Joe Flacco are the two in the past 20.
  16. TO's looming large again. Say what you will but that is something Hurts really is good at, limiting TO's. If you notice, all the TO prone gunslingers are not nearly as popular in the last 10+ years.
  17. I can't see him recovering but you never know. If he does, it's probably more like a Joe Flacco recovery than being prime Cousins.
  18. That's not really a better path if you look at the last 10 years of drafts. Lots of high draft pick busts. The issue is that if you are a team like Philly, you basically make this loaded team a cellar dweller or middle of the pack team immediately by getting rid of a guy like Hurts and not being able to replace them. You end up like Las Vegas, basically. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Everyone thinks their 2nd tier guy might be the one to elevate themselves to being elite but truthfully most never make that leap.
  19. Well Cousins might not even be a 3rd tier guy now, TBH. He looks a lot like Ryan at the end. There is zero world where I would take Delhomme over any of those guys. He was never more than a 3rd tier QB. Goff/Prescott/Ryan were always 2nd tier QB's. Love Jake but he was never better than league average at his best.
  20. There will only likely be 10-15 of those guys in the league at a given time. There are 16 currently at $40 mil or more AAV.
  21. The contracts aren't going to be so goofy looking in an offseason or two. Keep in mind the cap is going to have some major escalations due to the new TV deals. In fact if you look at cap %, at one point Peyton had a 20.5% total for Indy. Watson is a "projected"(likely less) 23-25% at his $72 mil cap hits in 2025 and 2026. That is just how much the cap has gone up.
  22. No, they would be substantially worse. That's not a 1:1. I wouldn't have wanted to pay Hurts either but I also wouldn't have wanted to pay Lawrence or Goff or Dak or most of these recent contract guys. Nor would I want to be paying Purdy. At this point, that is just sort of the price of a starting QB anymore.
