  1. It's financially irresponsible to make that move now.
  2. The Venn Diagram of teams believing we are solely to blame and that also thought he was the number 1 QB probably looks like a pair of eyeglasses.
  3. bengals (0-3) - L bears (1-2) - W falcons (1-2) - L commanders (2-1) - L broncos (1-2) - W saints (2-1) - L giants (1-2) - W chiefs (3-0) - L bucs (2-1) - L cowboys (1-2) - L cards (1-2) - W
  4. He will probably be moved in the offseason. If he is not, you can go ahead and chalk that up to more roster mismanagement.
  5. He got whipped once last night early but he was decent after.
  6. So they didn't draft Brian Thomas? The OL is underwhelming but it's still not a bottom 10 unit in the league. It's functional enough to perform. I have seen multiple seasons of Lawrence not being great. His peak has been slightly above average starter quality. The truth is....he is a bust. Not a bust to the extent that he isn't going to likely continue to be a starting caliber QB or priority backup for a long time but he isn't remotely close to a generational player. He's much more Ryan Tannehill than he is Patrick Mahomes. Nothing wrong with that, minus the "generational talent" label.
  7. Mims looked a little up and down last night. Not sure we are really equipped to fully take advantage of him but it should be a potential weakness.
  8. I would consider that trade provided this time Caleb rides the pine to watch for a bit. Caleb might be salvageable or even good. Bryce is neither.
  9. I have no desire to watch him MAYBE ascend to league averagish for top of the positon pay. That's nuts. Only a blind fool or a Clemson homer would want that.
  10. This is completely untrue. They have invested in their OL, they have talent at WR and they have good RB's. Lawrence is a large portion of their struggles.
  11. He isn't garbage but he is below average. Why would we want that price tag for that?
  12. He seems to be growing in that regard.
  13. The biggest issue with be that we don't have Gardner Minshew going full Bryce. Burrow isn't going to create phantom pressure like Minshew was. If we aren't able to get pressure on Burrow, he is going to fuging torch our secondary.
  14. The Bengals/Panthers is interesting. They are banged up and Andy will be motivated.
  15. I had a moment before he played in the NFL where I had a lot of doubt about Lawrence. He had some quotes in an SI interview that made me wonder how much he actually loved football. It's tough to be elite at QB and not be a maniac about playing the sport, IMO. I don't know that he has that extra gear.
  16. Sir, this is an outlandish take thread. You take your reasonable opinions and hit the road.
  17. The fact that the entire line looks so much better speaks to how much of a dumpster fire our 2023 season was.
  18. Yeah, those were both supporting blockers that fuged those up. That seemed pretty obvious.
  19. Yeah, this is an insanely stupid idea. It's one thing to tote a bust #1 overall pick at a rookie salary, it's another to tote a below average NFL starter at a top 10 contract price. This sounds like something David Tepper would come up with.
  20. Daniels was my clear #1 QB from this class.
  21. Well he is still our best all around WR. Even at his reduced abilities. Mingo and XL are utterly incapable of replacing the experience and technical ability that he has.
  22. I think you stopped reading here during his first two years in the league.
