    It's very sad to see him so physically diminished when we saw him be that "Superman." But he played in a way that doesn't leave a lot left in the tank and it took a toll on his body, no matter how willing his mind was. But, you know, it was a wild ride. He gave us the best season in our team history and left as hands down the greatest offensive weapon the franchise ever had.

    LT at 6 is the way to go, unless there is a run on OT's. Pass rushers would make me the least upset of the non-LT options. Agreed, there is no chance Bozeman isn't our center. Elflein is fuging trash.

    Guess we know what our first 4th round draft pick will be now.

    One of these top shelf OT's at 6 would make that OL transformation potentially quite extreme.

    I hope he is able to stick around(in the NFL) as a back up QB for a few years and maybe finally get a ring. It won't be here, very unfortunately but he deserves it. He deserves it for everything he gave and one of our stars deserves to finally get one.

    Yeah and that is honestly where I am with it. I feel the same way with the draft, for that matter. Do nothing at QB, let Rhule take the shelling he deserves this season and start anew in 2023.

    I honestly think that people want CMC to be something he isn't, which I have always found really odd because he is actually quite elite at what he does. His downside is injuries, not skill level. He's a real, NFL RB, not a gadget or utility player or definitely not a WR. He really is an actual RB. Happens to be an elite RB, even.

    But will we hear things in public or will the things that are heard only be in your head?

    He haven't "done nothing" at QB, we've just accomplished nothing. There is a difference, albeit subtle.

    I am not upset about the one year deals. It's far better than our history of signing big, dumb contracts.

    The Huddle always gets too excited about offseason moves. We've hung more offseason banners than seasons we've existed.

    I really have no idea how to feel about it. On paper it seems a lot less dumb than last offseason but I just have a generally hard time being excited because of the Tepper/Rhule Effect. If I completely ignore that, B-ish.

    Hekker is easily the best signing. Honestly not even close.

    We will pick Sam Howell at 6 in a decision almost universally hated by the entire fanbase. Quietly, @LinvilleGorge will purchase one of 53 Sam Howell Panthers jerseys sold in 2022 and will forever blame Matt Rhule for Howell‘s subpar play as a top 10 draft pick.

    You mean the rosters he built? He sucks. At everything.

    At some point we gotta get out of the way back machine and move on from Cam. As much as the real fans loved him(the ones who hated him were never really Panthers fans), he isn't a full time starter in the NFL anymore. Let's move on to whatever the next chapter is in our Browns like QB carousel.

    Depends on who else is on the board. Also, Thibodeaux isn't universally regarded as a can't miss guy. We genuinely may not have him rated as highly as the mocks.

    It goes beyond PFF grades. He played very well and certainly looked the part of a franchise left tackle. Barring some Matt Kalil-like fall, that one will hurt for a while.
