  1. One of those games was because of Young’s 26-yard run putting us well over 100. Funny thing — he still has the only 22+ yard run this season by a Panther, and it’s one of a whopping two 20+ yard runs
  2. Agreed. I watched basketball with my kid this afternoon and we had a blast. Didn’t visit the Huddle, didn’t think “wonder what CJ’s doing,” didn’t even think “that god damn midget who’s taller than 4/5 of the Huddle makes my blood boil as red as my Ickey avatar,” either
  3. Sure there is a meter. How often does one post about someone who doesn’t play for his supposed favorite team? If it’s a majority of one’s posts, and they start multiple threads saying the same things, that’s probably an obsession and it’s clearly something that dominates their thoughts far more than it should.
  4. There’s “impressed,” and then there’s “obsessed”. Quite a few on here fall into the latter and not the former
  5. That’s my thought. He’s not here. If he was, I’d probably be a lot happier on Sundays from 1-4, but whining about it doesn’t do any good. I would love to have a RB rush for 150 yards too — that’s more than Sanders has in the last 7 games COMBINED
  6. He also had an offseason of teams able to review what he did at the end of 2009, and he simply wasn't able to adjust. All three of his picks in Week 1 were awful, awful throws -- IIRC, all of them in field goal range too. Moore wasn't a terrible QB, but he just didn't have it then. And then in Week 2, we only scored 7 points. That's with two healthy All-Pro RBs, Steve Smith, etc.
  7. It’s not about being “in your feelings,” it’s being excited the Panthers won a game. Generally, people who root for the Panthers to win do that sort of thing.
  8. Don’t forget Moore threw 3 picks against NYG in the season opener. He was not having an All-Pro season
  9. If you’re factoring in the 2010 team’s injuries along with these, I think this team wins a Houston-like game.
  10. Pushing the “soft benched” narrative is the football version of pizzagate-type poo. You gotta be out of touch with reality to buy that
  11. That’s fine if you don’t read your posts but others do
  12. At best, the GM is not good at his job and at worst, he's not good at his job and he's a yes-man for the owner. At best, the owner stays hands-off but hires people who suck at their jobs. At worst (most likely), the owner and his wife play Owner, General Manager, Director of Football Operations, Scouting Director and Player Personnel Director.
  13. I ain't got a problem. You're the one quoting me.
  14. CPF4LIFE is a great example. Bro was angry his Texans lost
  15. Generally, yeah -- even the ones I didn't want. I don't see much value in rooting for them to fail, nor is it worth much to me to ignore factors out of their control to conveniently further a misguided narrative or two.
  16. There will be a random win somewhere but even if last night was a win, 3-14 and 2-15 aren’t all that different. Reich’s still getting fired, WRs still don’t get open, run routes or catch, OL still doesn’t block, Bryce still misfires some and the defense still gets gashed on the ground.
  17. He can’t block, catch it for them, run the routes and not false start. But sure
  18. You can say Young has underachieved and it’s fair but my God there are an absolute litany of false statements thrown around here all the time
