We don't know what his status is as far as returning, since he's a free agent, but let's all recognize the Carolina Panthers' longest-tenured active player. We acquired J.J. Jansen in 2009 and have never regretted it. He's been a model citizen in the Charlotte community, an excellent long snapper who's been voted to the Pro Bowl, and also a key cog in one of our wins this season after he downed a punt at the 1. He's also played in more games (192) than any Panther except John Kasay. Cheers to the only Panther player in his mid-30s...
