Rapoport believes Watson will be traded before the deadline
joemac replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well he’s not lying. It’ll take at least a week or 2 to get Watson ready to play. -

Well he’s probably asked people in the league office if they plan on placing Watson on the Exempt List assuming he’s traded… -

A criminal complaint is when the women go to the police and literally complain that a crime has been committed against them. -

Yeah, Sam will definitely start next week. It'll take at least a week or 2 to get Watson up to speed enough to actually start. -

Ian Rappaport said this morning that they have no plans of putting him on the Exempt List. So......GIDDYUP! -

Jeff Davidson had us moving up and down the field more often than Brady has. -

What is Rhules strength supposed to be? What does he bring to the table to get the team out of where they are now? Because whatever it is supposed to be, I am NOT seeing it. -
Me too. I feel like Tepper is the type of guy who does not take embarrassment and failure lightly. He has a very big ego and very high expectations for his assets. The Panthers are his most public asset, and they are currently an embarrassment....specifically at the QB position. Also, I think Watson would likely already be a Panther if it were not for his issues. The only way I don't see it happening is if Watson just says "I will only accept a trade to Miami".

Quite simply we are getting schemed up every game. The league has figured our college offense out, and Joe Brady has absolutely no counter punch.

Sam just looks completely broken. Skittish as hell, no confidence, his fundamentals and footwork have completely collapsed. Hes regressed over this last month in the biggest way possible. Im afraid hes just damaged goods ala David Carr.

Yeah I tried to be as positive as I possibly could when we got Sam. I thought he could be fixed and would show us why he was the number 3 pick in the draft. Those first 3 games were fools gold. Sam is an absolutely dreadful QB. If we have to watch another season and a half this this dude behind center there might not be any Panthers fans left. Something has got to give, because Sam, Rhule and Joe Brady are sinking this ship with no survivors. Its bad....real, real, real bad.

We’re a legit poverty franchise.

That’s the biggest head scratcher for me. Why on Gods green Earth do you pick up his 5th year option before he’s even played a down?! What had he ever shown before tells you that’s a smart idea? It’s baffling.
