  2. In an interview with Hard Rock Bet, the ex-tight end was blunt about where he stands on Young’s future in Carolina. Shockey pointed to inconsistency, citing Young’s Week 15 performance as an example where he managed just 163 passing yards with a touchdown and an interception in the loss to the New Orleans Saints. https://catcrave.com/jeremy-shockey-just-said-what-everyone-was-thinking-about-bryce-young
  3. Panthers HC Dave Canales said Trevin Wallace underwent season-ending shoulder surgery. Wallace has started all 12 games he’s appeared in for the Panthers this season, totaling 61 tackles, four pass breakups, and two sacks while earning a PFF grade of 54.2. Wallace was injured in Week 15 and missed last week’s game as a result. Now, the second-year linebacker will be shut down for the remainder of the season and look to come back healthy in time for training camp next season. Canales said linebacker Claudin Cherelus will continue to start in Wallace’s absence.
  4. Andy will most certainly be cut. I think they like Mike White, who was kept on the PS over Hendon Hooker
  5. Wide Receiver: Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers – 85.3 One of the more shocking developments of the 2025 NFL season has been the Carolina Panthers’ ascension to the top of the NFC South, which they achieved with Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers. Perhaps nobody has made a bigger difference than former eighth overall pick Tetairoa McMillan, who continued to be a steady presence in the Panthers’ offense. McMillan caught six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in the win Tight End: Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers – 91.1 Evans only saw the field for 16 snaps, but he was efficient in his limited playing time. He caught all three of his targets for 23 yards on just six receiving snaps while also grading well in pass protection (72.2 grade) and as a run-blocker (68.4) Edge Defender: Nic Scourton, Carolina Panthers – 77.9 The former second-rounder out of Texas A&M has been a force along the Panthers’ defensive line, and he was a key contributor in Carolina’s huge win over the Buccaneers. Scourton recorded two stops as a run-defender and added another while in coverage. Scourton also tallied his sixth sack of the year while contributing another pressure to the mix Safety: Lathan Ransom, Carolina Panthers – 75.7 Another Carolina Panther on this week’s list, Ransom has typically been stronger in run defense — he carries an 85.2 grade in that field on the season. But Sunday against the Buccaneers was his best day in coverage. Ransom intercepted his only target, which wound up being the game-winner that put the Panthers in the driver’s seat in the NFC South
  6. The Huddle: "Off with his head"!!! "we hate him, kill him now"!!
  7. Best of the defense 1. OLB Trevis Gipson: 81.1 2. CB Mike Jackson: 72.3 3. CB Jaycee Horn: 67.7 4. S Nick Scott: 67.3 5. CB Chau Smith-Wade: 64.8 Jackson and Horn played well against the Saints' ground game—receiving run defense grades of 91.1 and 85.5, respectively. They notched two stops apiece https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/12/15/panthers-pff-grades-week-15-saints/87775473007/
  8. Worst of the defense 11. S Tre'von Moehrig: 52.8 12. ILB Trevin Wallace: 52.3 13. OLB Princely Umanmielen: 51.6 14. DL A'Shawn Robinson: 51.6 15. ILB Christian Rozeboom: 26.8 Rozeboom wasn't as solid against the run, earning a team-low 37.7 mark in that department. He was also saddled with the lowest coverage grade (27.7) after giving up five catches for 63 yards over five targets
  9. Best of the offense 1. WR Jalen Coker: 84.3 2. QB Bryce Young: 78.4 3. LG Damien Lewis: 72.1 4. RT Taylor Moton: 64.3 5. WR Xavier Legette: 64.1 Coker reeled in four catches for a team-leading 60 yards and a touchdown. His score came off a 32-yard pass from quarterback Bryce Young, who completed 15 of his 24 attempts for 163 yards
  10. Worst of the offense 10. TE Ja'Tavion Sanders: 56.3 11. RG Austin Corbett: 56.0 12. TE Tommy Tremble: 53.2 13. LT Ikem Ekwonu: 52.3 14. TE Mitchell Evans: 51.3 Ekwonu was charged with a team-high five pressures. He earned his lowest pass-blocking grade of the season (31.6)
  11. Possibly. You guys can bone the refs, blame Bryce, blame Evero but the biggest issue on this team is the non-existent pass rush
