Panthers GM Scott Fitterer said after the draft he wanted to add a kick returner and he got a good one. Carolina signed Andre Roberts, 34, an All-Pro pick three times in the last four seasons. Roberts led the league in kickoff return yards last year with 1,010. His 8,578 combined return yards are the post of any player in the league since 2010. He is from Columbia, South Carolina and attended The Citadel. David Newton, ESPN Staff Writer1m ago

The team agreed to a one-year deal with wide receiver/returner Andre Roberts. The 34-year-old Roberts was an All-Pro pick three times in the last four seasons, and led the league in kickoff return yards last year (1,010, with two teams). His 8,578 combined return yards (kickoff and punt) are the most of any player in the league since 2010. He had a 101-yard touchdown return on a kickoff for the Chargers last year, evidence he's still able to make big plays. https://www.panthers.com/news/andre-roberts-return-specialist-agreed-to-terms-citadel-south-carolina

We clearly cleared 30 million in order to absorb a possible Baker Mayfield or Jimmy Garoppolo acquisition. Since that’s not happening we simply save it for next season

Roll it over for next season

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers added another rookie quarterback to the mix and supplemented some thin spots on the roster, by agreeing to terms with a class of 13 undrafted rookies. ISAIAH GRAHAM-MOBLEYLB, CAROLINA PANTHERS Panthers signed Boston College LB Isaiah Graham-Mobley Graham-Mobley (6'1"230) has NFL athleticism but might not have NFL-level instincts or play recognition. He can put the hurt on the ball carrier with his solid speed (4.63 40) and above-average explosion (85th percentile broad jump, 63rd percentile long). He has an unfortunate injury history, already suffering two season-enders in 2019 and 2020. Those slowed his development, but that could also mean a few healthy years will allow him to unlock the mental side of the game and weaponize the gifts he has. He'll most likely begin his career on special teams, but he has the athleticism to be more.
