  1. Agreed with going receiver in the third if the draft shaped up that way in the first two rounds. Need speed on the outside in the worst way. If we want to replace Tolbert in his "fullback" role I'd rather we draft a prototypical fullback in the 6th or 7th. We need a mauling blocking back that can pick up blitzes if we are really trying to be a ground and pound offense (even though I'd rather we push more towards a passing offense).
  2. Not a fan of Collins even if he is available. I think there will be better options. He is poor in coverage and struggles big time in space. In the modern NFL, a passing league, I want a safety who excels in coverage. His game against Ole Miss I believe was a disaster. Secondary players from Alabama have disappointed in the NFL as of late when you look at where they were drafted and Saban has beat them to death. I'm still thinking we go with another veteran safety in free agency this year to compete with Harper and/or Boston. Like the rest well enough although I'd rather we get a speed guy like Lockett in third if he is there. Give me Strong or Perriman in the first.
  3. I've been hoping for a WR at 25 for a while now. Strong, Devin Smith, or Breshad Perriman preferably.
  4. In today's news: Llamas A mystery color dress And Lilsmitty09
  5. Yes I'm surprised he hasn't hopped on the Huddle yet.
  6. I believe you have some special news to tell the Huddle. I just saw/read an awesome post of yours that's going viral on the Twitter world. I don't want to spoil the surprise so I'll let you make a thread on it or post in here. We want details! Congratulations brotha that is big time!
  7. @DNewtonespn: League source says #Panthers DE Greg Hardy to seek immediate reinstatement based on Thursday's Adrian Peterson decision.
  8. @josephperson: #Panthers DE Greg Hardy will seek immediate reinstatement following today's Adrian Peterson ruling, per a league source. ... More coming.
  9. I could be wrong but didn't our offensive line coach John Matsko spend some years in Baltimore? I think he may have even coached Oher before.
  10. True. We would also be able to visit with the likes of Ginn or Jacoby Jones.
  11. DeAngelo now saying he was referring to leadership and owner and not Rivera or teammates.
  12. Thank you for the memories DeAngelo! You will be missed!
  13. Interesting stat about Luck I just want to post here: Since Luck was drafted, the Colts are 16-2 against their own division. They simply don't have another QB in the AFC South that is even average or has a chance of out-scoring them. Against all other teams, the Luck led Colts are 17-13. Solid, a few games above .500 but a far cry from the domination that is 16-2. Since coming into the league, Cam Newton and the Panthers are 14-10 against the NFC South. Against all other teams, in the regular season, the Newton led Panthers are 18-21-1.
  14. Love Agholor. He'd be a great fit here and a good compliment to Kelvin. Doubtful he's around in the 2nd round and I actually think he could be worth a 1st. At 25 we may end up having our choice between Strong, Agholor, Perriman, Devin Smith, and DGB. All very good players that could instantly start for us and be difference makers.
  15. Cap is going to continue to rise more and more every year. That helps at least. We just need Gettleman to continue drafting well so that when players are due to get paid here, we have capable depth and players waiting in the wings to take their place so it is easier to negotiate and easier to let them go as a viable replacement piece is already on the roster. The single most important factor in handing this money to Cam is drafting well every year and keeping him upright.
  16. Except that it specifically noted that Cam's reps are meeting with Gettleman at the combine.
