  1. Good luck trying to explain this to all the Bryce haters. They are generally set in their ways and when you as actually instill logic, all it is to them is "excuses."
  2. He was also under duress majority of the game and how many false starts did we have this game?? Yes, he threw some awful ints.... But to pin the whole game on him is asinine
  3. I do not think Young is the issue. Yeah, he had some bad interceptions (he is going to have bad games) but he has shown improvements through each game (besides today) The problem with today's game was more so penalties and the offensive line.
  4. Wilks was not nor never will be the answer as HC... I've said it before and I will say it again. The question you should be really asking is what would our record have been with Steichen as HC instead of Reich???
  5. Any bets that Belichick gets fired in NE and McDaniels ends up as HC?
  6. This is why many need to understand that our team is a work in progress. Under the circumstances, Bryce played pretty good but he needs better protection and seperation from receivers. I think Bryce will continue to improve. Also, I felt like the Young vs Stroud argument was over played. I think both will be successful in this league but we need to remember, they are both ROOKIES. Stroud has been incredibly lucky to have to a good supporting cast around him.
  7. So in other words... Become the Cleveland Browns where we constantly fire coaches until they get it right?
  8. I'm making up excuses??? Dude, your arguments for keeping Wilks are as follows: " He rallied players behind him" And "He went 6-6 with Rhule players" Spare me your "your making up excuses" talk when you have a legit argument for keeping Wilks.
  9. You do realized that the majority of the teams we faced were below .500.... How many were actually playoff teams? Again, the record was overblown.
  10. For me- I don't hate Wilks by no means and I think he is a good defensive coach but I do feel like his record last season was way overblown. Had they won the last game against Tampa Bay, I feel like he would have probably won the HC position but quite honestly, I feel like neither should be HCs and we should've gone the "young offensive mind" route.
  11. I still believe in the "Bryce is Right" hype train... I think give him some more time, under a Thomas Brown led offense... He will be so much better and Improved.
  12. And I can argue that some of the Bryce Bashers just want to find reasons for him to fail...
  13. While he didn't directly come out say it in his introductory presser, Brown hinted multiple times in the direction of Young if you listen closely. Part of me also thinks that Josh McCown was also part of the group that wanted Bryce too. That said, I said this off-season that if we truly hit on this staff that I could see one of four young coaches (Brown, McCown, Evero, or Staley) stepping in as HC here once Reich retires... It was just a matter of if they want to wait. I didn't want a defensive guy as HC but the only exception to that would have been Ryans or Evero. I guess we will see how this outcome works out at the end of the season.
  14. Be prepared for disappointment lol... Reich probably will not be fired this season. Tepper will probably give him another year to clean up stuff. Fitterer on the other hand...
  15. You know that for a fact?? Because I am pretty certain Tepper and Co would have a say in that and I think the result would be the same. Ftr, I don't think it is all on Bryce.
  16. Really?? So what would happen if Wilks did stay and went 0-4... You still have his back?
  17. He literally had an opportunity to get to the playoffs by beating Tampa... His conservative play calling cost is that game... So can we please put the "Should've kept Wilks" argument to a rest... He isn't a great HC. Period.
  18. I mean, what to do you expect him to say? They are not going to to flat out admit they are trading for a WR.... It is coach speak
  19. First and foremost, I do not see Frank Reich getting fired, atleast not this season but if push comes to shove, I could see a couple of scenarios happening: Promote Evero or Brown: Seriously, both are up and coming HCs that come from the Shanahan/McVay tree so I would love to see what Bryce can do in those type of concepts on offense. Yes, I know Evero is a defensive guy but just look what Ryans is doing with the Texans.... I can definitely see a turn around here with either in charge Go after a proven HC: This will not be a popular choice as we did that with Reich and it has not worked out so far (although, I think the jury is still out) but, for example, if a guy like Tomlin came available, I could possibly see it happening. Also, another name to look out for is Bill O'Brien. I know many will think I am crazy for mentioning that name but given his history with Bryce Young and Tepper's relationship with the Kraft family, there are ties to the Patriots organization. Go with a up and coming Coordinator: Ben Johnson (Lions), Frank Smith (Dolphins) , etc Regardless what we do, it needs to cater around Bryce Young. He is not a bust after four games, y'all... He just needs a good offense to strive in.
  20. I do wonder if the Carolinas would ever get a new team if the Panthers move... If so, I kind of hope it's an AFC team. Personally, I think there are investors inside the Carolinas that would miss having a football team and will try every way possible to get one back.
  21. Who happened to coach under one of the greatest offensive minds in the business... Kyle Shanahan
  22. Might I add that Reich is notorious for slow starts in Indy but turned around the team... Not really worried. My expectations are low this year just because of the changes occuring.
  23. Brah... He is a rookie... In his second game... Stop overreacting
