Shough is now 5-3 in his starts 69.6 comp %, 249 pass yards per game, QB ratings of 97.2 in his 8 starts. If he closes out the season w/ a win and plays well? It will be tough not to give it to him in all honesty if he finishes 6-3 on a 5 game win streak.

We all watch Bryce. Sometimes stats produce bullshit and lie. It’s why no singular stat means anything what’s Dalton’s CPOE this season in his start what’s Bryce’s on the year

The only stats the Bryce defenders want to talk about share one common denominator…..they are heavily influenced by throws into tight coverage. And Bryce’s throws into coverage have discussed and why he makes those on repeat. there are billion ways to look at QB play. They virtually all tell a similar story about what Bryce is and it aligns with the visual….he isn’t a good QB. Cherry picking CPOE random ass week means nothing when we got 3 years of all sorts of metrics to judge him. you got it wrong on Bryce. Just move on. The defense is beyond sad. And now you lean on whatever it is you think you are doing the post above lol

Really no different than PFF and their “big time throws” when it comes to Bryce the entire league has sat on our pass game since Bryce arrived. He throws the same BS routes on repeat. Which means the coverage and balls are tight on many non spectacular throws. Bryce can’t back a D off. He can’t stress them. That impacts coverage. Then the defenders deep dive into these very cherry picked stats…..and ignore the billion other metrics that say says he is bad. Because it’s not close when you look at the billion ways a QB can be broken down

If you gave Jimmy a quicker release and increased his scrambling ability …..they get pretty close though

Moves to 5-3 as a starter. Good odds to finish 6-3. With his starting numbers he might have an outside shot if both WRs lay an egg in the finale. Still a long shot but I bet Vegas makes a noticeable change

Sam and Bryce are 1 and 2 in the all powerful GWD stat over the last 2 years. Sam is who Bryce jumped the other week to take first reality is neither one is clutch. Neither one is good. Bad QBs apparently have high odds of getting credited with GWDs it seem if you keep playing them on repeat

Allen had 250+ pass yards in the cold rain….and used his body as a battering ram to put them in position to win with a 2 pt conversion equating that to Bryce Young today and saying everyone has bad days is wild

Gonna be a tough sell publicly….as the D will be the only area of improvement from last season to this season. O is statistically going to be down this year pending they don’t go for a billion yards and points vs Tampa (it’s down vs last year with the Seattle game not even factoring yet)

I still say Julian Edelman nailed it best pregame… Bryce is reliant on Canales scheming his passes up on 3rd and 4th short scenarios to catch a D off guard. If the run doesn’t exist…..he can’t sit back and pass into coverage. * Rico ran tough all game. His opportunity limited * Stew essentially a Panther employee and his takes will be massaged and not hitting certain things. Which is the light talk of Bryce, off a franchise worst performance….and ignoring the load on everyone else’s shoulders because of the QB

Yep, the formula to win with Bryce is just painfully tough. To beat a legit good team? Requires a degree of perfection and the ball going our way to just beat an okay team? It still requires so much on the shoulders of everyone else because his offensive output is low even in what we qualify as good for Bryce days and that’s backup QB play the sooner we admit the miss and move on, the better.

Clausen only had 13 pass attempts Twitter is claiming you would have to go back to 1980 to find less pass yards with a QB getting 24 attempts. We might of witnessed legit franchise history again

Tampa isn’t Seattle. we pretty much know what Dave does with Bryce. The safe plays will generate more O vs Tampa. issue will be can we outscore Tampa in Tampa and will Bryce hit his 2-3 real passes

We have seen him not pull the trigger for 3 seasons he also is a league leader in killing live plays by leaving the pocket if you believe those subjective stats Julian Edelman did a nice job calling out the fact pregame Canales has to scheme up favorable passing scenarios for it to work for Bryce….as he can’t really just sit in a pocket and make plays

Rico could have run for 100+. Rico is a volume RB. He is a better RB today than Hubbard. Not a Hubbard diss. And Dave has ensured Rico never gets his volume to go off ever since he was critical publicly of Dave Canales

They should have. And they should of brought back up the Tommy Tremble dink the last time we found ourselves in a clear cut Hail Mary scenario to end a half that matched this play selection

That’s a repeated call. Canales went to great lengths to get a Hail Mary scenario and did a dunk to Tremble. It’s almost just going through the motions they have to run a play and run plays with a 0% chance. Actual Hail Marys carry an actual shot plus the PI opportunity is in play

Not totally true. We might win if the pattern holds but sometimes he plays like poo or meh….and we happen to win. And people act like a win erases Bryce was meh
