By NFL rosters standards, yeah there are good and bad players. No team has all good players playing over the course of a season. I can name a bunch of meh Panther players that have made a great play before.

No. Sam is still Sam. He has been Sam since college. He has always been Sam. Bad OL play doesn't make Sam bad Sam. That's just Sam. Good OL play will just give him more opportunities to be bad. We don't need to see anything. We don't want to resign Sam or Baker. Why would you want a fools gold game to sucker your team into that mistake. PJ is the only guy they should consider. And PJ would be brought in as the 2/3.

well, he basically didn't really play the first 5 games so that could aid him near the end.

I agree. Think Belichick has lobbied for that. You get 3 challenges and anything is fair game.

I don't blame him for the first miss. If you are asking an in season add/backup K to hit near 50 yard XPs to win games.....that not really a kicker issue. The last one though a backup K or anyone that takes a NFL check has to make.

PJ has proven he can win more than one game. I mean he literally has won games all 3 seasons he has been a backup. he played well enough to win today too. That’s football though.

We have averaged 145 yards per game on the ground post Rhule firing. So we actually became a rushing team now that he is gone. all it took for Matt Rhule’s vision to become a reality was to fire him.

Hell no. if we want a backup QB that is on the roster then sign PJ for peanuts. The backup that has actually proven he can do his job when called up for the random week. if been saying it since last year, PJ is better than Sam. That’s continues not be PJ praise.

Peyton Manning would have been garbage in a zone read heavy O. Cam Newton would have been garbage in Tom Brady’s late Patriot scheme. Fields hasn’t been good. But the Bears have done him little favors overall since drafting him. I mean he is running tonight but overall the O has never been catered to his strengths where you get drafted has a lot to do with your ability to have success
