Hard disagree. And I bicker with Jimmy all the time. Jimmy is a good well rounded poster that makes a lot of sense overall.

To me, that’s his only actual legit positive. He is shifty when scrambling. But it’s not like it carries the threatening perk of say Justin Fields being a fast runner. * I mean, I think he carries the perk of being a decent human and has some mental toughness. But if those are your strengths and your weaknesses are what they are….talk is going to be more negative than positive about football play

I can name multiple pro Bryce arguers that have adopted the stance people here don’t actually watch the games. So you will have to forgive me if I lumped this into that talk… Bryce is so consistent in bailing from the pocket and creating scramble scenarios we don’t actually want that because he should be throwing on time…..I’m not sure he is even better at avoiding sacks now. He of often takes lots of can’t take sacks based on situations. I mean he is slippery. I have said that for 3 straight years. He can surprise with his wiggle and shiftiness. I don’t see much change though. He is in less bad positions vs early in his career.

Is the Bryce defense now becoming…..the most fanatical segment of the entire Panther fanbase doesn’t watch Bryce Young play football and just looks at the box score? the primary BY issue is his lack of physical tools, how it impacts every single game and how that prohibits the Panthers from even average production in the pass game. and if you compared him vs his tier of QBs statistically and didn’t allow a full time starter every game to be compared with players with skewed season statistics due to not starting every game…..it’s astonishing how almost the entire league can put multiple players on the field that outproduce BY (even bad teams). We should be able to talk about BY in the same manner we have always talked about offensive weak links because he has proven to be that overall for 3 straight seasons. Even his “good” days aren’t good. And we have gone all the way done to….can you prove he is THE reason we lost a game lol

The draft capital since since 2023 has in no way been pretty even. Especially when you zero in on day 1 and day 2 draft picks. Draft capital has vastly gone toward the O over D.

Last several years have been about building up the O to the detriment of the defense. And on a his version of a good day our QB tops out at about 170 pass yards…..and can’t lead the O over 17 points vs a bad team. big picture, the Saints loss wasn’t a defensive failure.

People know we are owned by David Tepper. Think it boils down to them/us merely wanting Tepper to not feel there is apathetic or even support for him in the fanbase for him to justifying doing something dumb in the very near future. Simple as that.

That guy still would argue today he was totally right about Fitterer and all his other trainwreck stances. I still love his current stance that the horrific Saints backfield and a washed Kamara is basically the Panthers backfield lol.

The real trigger is when a bad starting QB is just flat out acknowledging as such and that we should view it as such as we plan forward……is met by people defending Bryce for never ending pages/posts. THAT is unlike anything we ever seen. we should be able to say, yeah, we need to move on from that and then go about our business of talking the rest off the team, how to win today given what we have and talk about the future.

Sometimes Bryce is also extending plays because he kills them by not making the throws……where other QBs would/do. Bryce is slippery. It probably is his greatest feature. But every example of him showing it off isn’t actually good.

Vikings D was top 5 in points allowed in 2024. #1 in takeaways. Seahawks D are top 5 in points allowed game in 2025. #6 in takeaways. Sam Darnold is Sam Darnold. Sometimes he is paired with great defensive play, a great WR and solid overall teams. But Sam is Sam. All you have to do is watch him. Like last night.

to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game. Which is what we do with Bryce Young. Sam Darnold didn't play well last night. Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch. Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).

Bryce Young has never balled out in his career outside the city of Atlanta. We should just trade him to Atlanta.

Yeah, the trending up narrative is wild gaslighting. 4 of his last 6 games. 102, 124, 138, 167 and 169 passing yards with 3 total TDs and 5 turnovers in those games. I mean, that isn't even backup caliber QB play. People consistently let the anomalies do way too much talking and let it mask way too much.

Collective effort Bucs have a top 10 run D so they should be able to focus in on and contain the run. BY will have about 170 passing yards. D will spend too much time on the field. While Baker’s arm is in doubt, I think he makes enough plays over the middle and still gets one late over the top on us for a really big one to Evans as we get sort of fooled he is conserving his arm I think it will be a pretty ugly offensive game for big chunks but the Bucs pull away late.

Canales didn’t hire Evero. Just like he didn’t hire Jim Caldwell and Dom Capers. Doubtful the HC no one wanted had tons of power to do what he wanted here….which likely gets into our QB decisions please see my avatar picture if you are confused about the point made

Canales has never been part of big YAC offenses in the NFL. That’s not his tree. Not in Seattle, Tampa or here. Every O he has been associated with basically has been bottom half of the league in YAC. That’s what Bryce needs to happen though 2 very different things….and very much gets into why the middle school QB doesn’t fit
