Panthers terminating Rock Hill project agreements
CRA replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
That is what I have argued people need BEFORE they release Tepper from all blame on the clusterfug. and I doubt it will be soon. Clusterfugs of this scale generally are a mess with a lot of people to blame. Not one party. -

it’s clear RH had no intention of playing the role as Tepper defined it in his press statements. Again. I have never not said RH was at at fault and shouldn’t of been in this from the jump. that doesn’t make Tepper squeaky clean. The conversation and understanding between the parties clearly matters. We have very little there. Almost Nothing. Sure doesn’t seem as black and white as Tepper’s said claims IMO. I doubt York County and Rock Hill’s positions are complete fantasy. -

Everyone makes accusations. Tepper makes them. Rock Hill makes them. York County makes them. Can’t pick and choose that only one persons are legit and the others all are lies. People have to actually address the accusations. Which frankly none have really had too. -

Also sounds like a point of contention was who would be left holding the bag on the bonds….if the project didn’t actually have the impact to the area it was initially said to be bringing. -

I'll ask again, for RH to issue the bonds.....do they need Tepper at all to do that? Let's have the bond talk. Where does the bond money actually come from. Let's start there. And I'll hold your hand to getting to Tepper. And the accusations/problems. It isn’t clear RH is all wrong and Tepper is completely innocent scenario. Certainly can’t hold that position without Tepper answering some questions given the accusations he won’t answer. -

my stance for months has been Tepper and RH are both to blame. That's what he is argued against. His additional question, is really a completely seperate disscusion. Did he intentionally implode the deal or was it just RH and Tepper both being idiots, trying to dupe the other, etc. He doesn't have to be intentionally trying to sink the deal to simply share blame in the bond mess w/ RH. So pick a discusion. -

RH made the accusations about the bond mess and Teppers part. Tepper refused to respond to those allegations. All that has been discussed. I’m saying both them likely have fault and fugged this thing up. This was new for RH AND Tepper. You keep digging in to it being all and only RH, I’m merely saying both are likely to blame for it falling apart. And you have consistently been against THAT stance. -

Well, if you don’t know….how do you explain being so adamant that Tepper isn’t partially to blame with RH on the bond mess? Which you have been doing for months RH has made some legit accusations that need answers on the bond issue. Tepper has chosen silence when asked on this specifics. so both look at fault there IMO until proven otherwise. Yet you consistently dig in to it only being RH to blame. so it doesn’t square -

you keep just reposting the same generic statement. That's redundant. I want to talk about the bond aspect. So again, RH needs to issue bonds. Do you think they need Tepper in any way to do that? Seems more like you are running from getting into talking about why BOTH of them are going to look bad in the end. I think if you asked 10 huddlers to explain the bonds you get 10 different answers. RH made some legit accusations on the bonds. Tepper refused to address it. Until they do. It is only reasonble to assume both are at fault to various degrees there IMO. -

then you answer this Serious question. Do you think Tepper/Panthers have any role in the bonds being issued? Where are talking in general. Go back and time. RH needs to issue bonds. Do you think they need Tepper in any way for that? -

Everyone is trying to save face. Including Tepper. RH being in the lawsuit isn't suprising. RH/Tepper are the two parties who imploded the deal. And the deal implosion is what took the County money. and again, I expect RH and Tepper to look really bad. OH NOES!!!! Some said Tepper! Someone saying he too (with everyone else) is going to look bad simply can't happen on your watch! -

and their 21 million per the agreement was for the 21 million to only to be used on the roads. It was used for other things. and I don't think people understand how bonds work. RH doesn't just pull them out of thin air. Tepper has a role in the bonds coming to fruition too. Yet somehow people skip right past that. RH alleged Tepper was problematic in that avenue. I think they both will look bad in the end on the bond issue. -

and of course, Tepper is the one actually accused of misusing the funds. Tepper was the one w/ the control of their money. Not RH. -
Essentially every draft has been overall loved at the time. Heck, there were people calling Jimmy Jam a steal. yeah, it’s a blurry line. I generally put the bulk on the HC. Because I think generally we have operated wanting to do what our HCs prefer. Which IMO is the right way to do it generally. Who knows where it really goes. My gut has always been the 2010 and now the 2022 drafts were the 2 the GM might of been the heaviest in getting his their preference though.
-
Well collectively they get a failing grade on the management of the QB position. Everyone that has been involved does since 2020.

Sounds like the county beef is primarily with Tepper. County is alleging Tepper took and the used their money for purposes outside of their agreement (roads). RH get included largely because the Tepper/RH squabble is what sank the overall project. I think the discovery on the bond issue is going to make both Tepper and RH look pretty bad -
nah, again, there are only 32 NFL GM jobs in the entire world. That’s just you doing your weird thing you do. Someone takes X job. Then you claim they must think Y team is great because they did it. There are just 32 of them. The worst one is still a good one . Not saying that is us but whoever it is. There are only 32. Whether we are talking GM or video guy

There are only 32 NFL GM jobs in the world. Might have something to do with that.

Question isn’t about if Horn and Icky can one day be better than 2015 Oher or Tillman. If you replaced Oher and Tillman with the 2 rookies as they are now….would that team be better that particular season is how I interpret the question. Icky this season I don’t believe will be as consistent overall as 2015 Oher. Same with Horn/Peanut. And Peanut was bringing a lot more than just play too. I think Icky will be better than Oher. I just don’t think 2021 Icky steps on the field and is instantly better than 2015 Oher. Who was very solid and consistent that year. And that was what Cam needed to do his thing.
-
Rookie Icky over 2015 Oher? 2015 Oher was so very solid. Basically rookie Horn over Peanut Tillman? 2015 isn’t going 15-1 and to the Super Bowl any longer when you start making a bunch of those type tweaks. Giving up consistency and a high standard for raw developing talent.

that's not how the beat writers that have covered Rhule have explained it though. the reporting has described Rhule as having a micromanging approach to coaching.
-
CMC, Moore, Moton. That's all I'm putting onto the 2015 starting O. *Depends what the starting formation is. 2 TE or do I have a slot WR. Robbie is the slot WR if we use that as the starting formation.
-
I'm not sure WRs is that cut and dry. DJ Moore is the #1 on the 2015 squad. Ted Ginn Jr I think is going to stay on the team and move to the #2 spot.

I mean he was interivewing for OC jobs. He he wasn't getting them. And they weren't great teams. He also inverviewed for QB coach and didn't get those. With bad teams. The Jags (a bad team) did finally give him a job as a QB coach. I mean, maybe the league has it all wrong. But failed HCs generally don't have a hard time falling back into coordinator jobs. McAdoo struggled. But maybe he doesn't have all the friendships other guys do. Which could be part of that.
